Weird question but I have to ask

I was reading about cancellations on the 2011 board but I didnt have last minute cancellation but I knew some people werent going to show and they didnt on the day of. My question is

Did anyone have any say there werent going to com just show up?

I had 4 no shows (which I thought it would be atleast 6 not who i expected) but I had 5 people say no and show up anyways

I had 2 people who rsvped 1 week before the wedding and wound up not showing up. A few people who rsvped 1 brought dates. And last second my sister asked if the 'Mush' (my 1 year old nephew) could come. I didnt mind that so much as he was free and rocking it up on the dance floor all night. :)

no but DH's cousin brought an univited guest and didnt as much as get us a card

we had a cancellation the night before- from our friend who wasn't invited at first, but threw a fit, so we invited him and his gf. Then the day of, they showed up but she avoided me all night, and they didn't give us a card or a gift

We had 5 no shows, but no one that showed up when they said they weren't going to.

The day before the wedding, 6 people that originally RSVP'd no, called to ask if they could come. One was one of DH's close friends that originally thought he was going to have to be on the road for work (he's a producer for the show Bar Resuce), but ended up flying in last minute for our wedding. The others were family.

I had one of DH's work friends say he was not coming and then like 2 days before the wedding ask him what time it started ... we made a place card for him but didn't set a place at the table. When I saw him at cocktail hour I had by DOC get a place set for him at his table
