What did you do with your dress?

After the wedding what did you do with your dress?
Mine is filthy at the bottom and has two rips in on it. I want to get it cleaned, fixed and preserved but does have no clue how much that will cost?
If you had it done could you let me know and if you think it was worth it to do it?

I had mine cleaned... it wasnt really dirty... just a little on the bottom.. I went to a drycleaners who charged me $150... no preservation bc I was planning on selling it... I did in fact sell it and my dress was worn again just 2 weeks ago! best decision ever made... i got a good chunk of $$ for it and i got to see it make another girl very happy

Mine is still hanging on the back of my closet door.

Mine too. I'm waiting until I do my TTD shoot, then I'll get it cleaned and preserved.

In the attic. I really want to at least get it cleaned if not preserved as well. Just have to get the motivation ot do it and the $$.

So glad to hear I'm not the only lazy one! I priced it at a few places in city, cleaning starts at $150 and preservation starts at $450 and I had a simple lace dress! If anyone can suggest good place on LI, maybe I will try to go next time I'm home.

I haven't done anything with mine yet, and it got really dirty at the bottom, I went the whole night and then stepped in a puddle on the way to our limo to go home

It's probably ruined. I want to get it cleaned before my one year, but we'll see if that happens lol.

MIL and FIL's neighbor owns a dry cleaner so they preserved mine as part of their wedding gift to me. I wish I didnt preserve it right away though, I didnt really get to see it after I took it off.
