What do I wear to this wedding?

What do I wear to this wedding?

We have a friend's wedding coming up at the end of October. I'll be about 31 weeks pregnant (7 months) by then. I *really* don't want to spend a lot of money getting dressed up for their wedding, but I do want to look appropriate.

They're getting married down in NC at a very pretty outdoor garden for the ceremony... then the reception is at a local brewery. They are doing everything themselves in terms of decorations. They might even be self-catering... I know they're trying to spend under $35 pp on the reception itself...

So, what in the world do I wear?

here's what they wore to our wedding last year:

They're both maternity dresses that fit well now and will likely still fit well in a month. Considering what the girl wore to our wedding, could I wear this dress with a shawl (I have a nice black shawl with sequins, although these are navy) or I have a pink pashmina that could work... or should I actually go and get a new dress that I haven't been wearing all summer out?

I also *could* wear the same dress to their wedding as I do to my shower which is going to be 2 weeks after the wedding... but I don't know. Most of me doesn't want to spend money on dressing up for them... I mean, you don't think she actually spend money dressing up for me, do you?

I think both dresses are fine with the shawl or a nice sweater you could dress up the sweater with a pin or flower and just add some accessories to jazz it up!

I like either and NC weddings are so much more casual than NY weddings I'd say you could go for either and still be 'dressed up.' My sister went to a wedding over the summer and she said some women wore khaki capris!
