What does this mean?? (dream related!)

So i remember when i was a kid my mom was telling her dad (my grandpa) about this dream she kept having about her teeth falling out.. and he told her that ment something but i can not for the life of me remember what it was.. because for the past 2 or 3 weeks ive been having the same reoccuring dream about my teeth falling out and its so realistic... ANYONE know what im talking about?

I had to get out my dream dictionary to confirm my thought. Falling out teeth is a fear of getting older or growing up. It's a really common theme in dreams

I used to have this one ALL THE TIME!!!!!! I remember looking it up and reading that it could be a symbol for 'not being assertive enough' in some area of your life!!!! It just so happens I hated my job and was dating an arse at the time, so that sounded PERFECT to me!!!!! I hated that dream, I'd wake up almost crying and with a sore jaw every morning!!!!!

i think milana was having this dream a while ago. lol i could be wrong tho. as far as dream interp goes, i think only the person who had the dream can really interp what it could mean to them. but yea teeth falling out is actually quite common and there is alot of diff interps out there for it- fear of losing looks/getting old, feeling powerless, etc.

I've had that dream before, at least you didn't have the dream I had last night, that ninjas were trying to break into my house and kill me!

well to be honest thats sooo true and totally justifies why im having this dream...

i just started a new job in a nursing home and although i absoutley LOOOOOVE IT!!! it has relly made me think about whats going to happen to me when i die.. and has really made me realize im petrified to die. also i have a lot of residents on Hospice so if its in the sense that someone aroudn me will die thats the truth too..

My grandmother always says this but she says if the teeth fall out and you FEEL the pain then it means death. I dont believe in superstitions. Ive had teeth dreams where they were rotting and falling out but Ive never felt the pain. I do agree it has something to do with fear of death but not that someone close to you will die. Sorry I didnt wanna post it but when I saw gtBride post is I had to!

I've heard it means death as well, but I always dream of it but in my dreams because of the fear to what it is related I always try to stick them back in my gums. I have never experience a close relative or friends death around the same time I have had those dreams. (I never heard that you had to dream of the pain though).

so weird, i've had that dream too. I even remember feeling my gums in the dream with my tongue and feeling that there were no teeth just holes. It felt so real!

I used to have this dream a lot and I never knew what it meant....only that recurring dreams mean you are processing something you haven't worked out yet.

yes i know.... i have the same dream where i get this strange feeling in my mouth and then i go to wiggle my teeth and their all loose then i start spitting them out one by one as they fall out.. its sooo real
