what's changed?

Since getting married? Ppl always say 'marriage changes everything' But not in my case since we already lived together. The only thing that's changed here is my name and I wear an extra ring.

Obviously, if you didnt live with your DH before, moving in together for the first time is a HUGE change.

We didn't live together until we were married, so that was our big change.

He had his own apartment and I had my own apartment.

Now we live in the place that was his apartment.

I never wanted to live with someone until we were married because I felt like entering into marriage should really be a big damn deal, and that having lived together, it wouldn't be.

But that's just me. I understand the benefits of living with someone before marriage...you learn a lot about a person...but we were together for almost 6 years by the time we were married and both had our own places, so it's not like we went into living together having not figured out the basic way to live our lives...you know, like balancing a budget, cooking for ourselves, getting errands done, etc.

Other than that...we have a whole lot more money now that we're living together, combining expenses, not paying rent on two places...that kinda stuff.

probably that i don't spend as much time with my friends without DH. we tend to hang out with each other or with our friends as couples, but it's a lot less often that we split up and he goes with the guys and i do with the girls.

I'd say everything is pretty much the same...

I always took our relationship seriously; however, I really do take the vows that we made very seriously and work to do those specific things as best as I can.

I'm not really sure if anything has changed. We started living together 2 months before the wedding so that is still new... other than that, I think were the same?
