What to do with my dress?

So here I am coming up on our anniversary in a few weeks and my dress is still hanging in the spare bedroom closet. Not cleaned, preserved or anything. Any ideas besides trashing it? I checked into donating, thought about selling it on ebay but what if i get nostalgic and miss it? HELP!!

Mine is on FIL couch in one of their rooms. I NEED to get it clean and what not.

Mine is in the attic. I go back and forth about selling it. Part of me wants to be able to show any future daughters the dress I wore on our wedding day, the other part thinks they can see pictures.

Just get it cleaned and preserved. So what if you never use it again. At least it is there just in case... thats how I feel... And maybe one day my daughter will want to wear it or I will use the materials to make baby dresses or dye it and have it made into a new dress for one of my own childrens weddings... who knows the possibilities are endless. I have not done anything with mine yet but I will be cleaning it and preserving it and while it may stay boxed up for the rest of its life... at least I have the comfort of knowing it is nearby if anything ever does occur where I get sentimental and want to have it back.

I never thought about it could become another dress for me. Thats a good idea. Maybe i will just keep it. So u ladies that had yours cleaned and preserved, how much will this run me approximately?

The cheapest I found was around $199 and it goes up from there. I would love to make it into another dress for myself. I just havent decided exactly what yet.

I have mine in my closet because we are doing a day after shoot this fall. After that it will be preserved and boxed. I would NEVER sell it. I love it too much.
