What was the oddest, weirdest, or worst wedding gift you got?

So I am thankful for gifts people got us...but some just made me go I figured people generally knew not to bring boxed gifts to a wedding...but I guess not. There were 2 for us.

1. His cousins came (whose baby shower is this weekend) and brought us 2 boxed gifts. Once opened we realized they were pretty much the same thing but different brands of some sort of blending system....and neither which we registered for. So obviously it was just something laying around their house.

2. A friend who came brought us a set of cups and 2 kitchen towels. My other friends told her why did you bring that...and she was like I couldn't make the shower so. They were like noooo you don't do that for a wedding...you shoulda called us. So maybe now she knows for the future. lol

I didn't get any weird or unusual wedding gifts, but I did get a check from my boss for $104.29. At first I was like but then realized it was our wedding date and thought that was so cute!

we got 2 mugs and awesome measuring cups from anthropologie. I loved them but it was one gift from 2 people!

We got from one couple an appetizer platter and a bag of weed. SERIOUSLY?!?!?!?!! I don't smoke!!!!

We had 3 non-gifters - one couple just gave a card with nothing in it. What really ticks me off about that one in particular is that the wife bought something off my registry, didn't come to the shower and never sent the gift. So, if it was something that I really wanted, no one else would have had the opportunity to buy it. If she really wanted it for herself, why buy it off the registry. I just don't undestand that one

Another couple - no card or anything, but that was no surprise, they've scr*wed us before (we bought tix to a show, paid for all of them and then they bailed at the very alst minute and said they would pay us back - yeah right)

Also no-gifted from a BM, who yesterday told me she hasn't gotten our gift 'yet'

We also got a keepsake box from Things Remembered that someone brought to the wedding - its engraved with our names and wedding date - but it wasn't wrapped and there was no card (its not from one of the non-gifters), so we have no idea who its from

DH and i didn't get anything overly weird ... but one of my friends received a toilet plunger from her brother (and nothing else).

2 family guy beer mugs with a mustache shaped bottle opener....

what's weird was there was no card, and we asked everyone and no one has told us anything.

Oh yeah - I forgot to add - one guest accidentally put her mortgage check in the envelope instead of our check. When we first opened it, we see a check for $1,6041.36 and were like 'WTH?!?!?!?' Then we saw that the check was made out to Bethpage Federal Credit Union. DH called the guest the next morning and says to her, 'Thanks for the gift, but you spelled my name wrong.' She was like 'what are you talking about?' She said she was going to send the right check, but so far, nothing

DH's sister gave us 1 chef knife and his brother gave us nothing i'd say that was the worst.

My Aunt's brother gave us a check, a picture frame, and

a can of 'Cream of Sperm' and a can of 'Cream of 'P*ssy' soup.

I wish I could find a picture online.

That was definitely the most ***-inspriing.

the girl was from california and flew out here for the wedding so i understand she spent a lot to come and Im totally ok with that but honestly?! id rather you gave nothing than a plastic mango cutter!
