What would you do!? Spinoff from a 2010 thread

So one of the girls on the 2010 board posted a pic that one of her guests was wearing an all-white dress to her wedding.

What you you do if you showed up at a wedding and an acquittance or a friend was wearing all white dress? Would you say anything?

I would be SO tempted to ask them what the heck they were thinking! I'm wondering if anyone else would have trouble keeping their mouth shut too!

Re: What would you do!? Spinoff from a 2010 thread

i have done that. But before the wedding I said. 'You're wearing white'? Are u serious? When she told me what she was wearing & after that she decided to wear a different dress. Umm u think? lol

OH BTW No-one wore white to our wedding. But if they did i prob would have made a joke. Like I guess you wanted to look just liek me today huh?

Re: What would you do!? Spinoff from a 2010 thread

If i knew the person, i'd probably say something to her .... but i'd stay out of it if she were a complete stranger.

I can't believe people are so stupid & vain that they'd go to a wedding wearing white!

Re: What would you do!? Spinoff from a 2010 thread

I don't think I'd say anything the day of, but if i knew beforehand that she was thinking of wearing white, I would say something. Someone actually wore a short white dress to my wedding but I didn't notice it until I looked at my proofs.

That is actually quite hilarious. She wasn't a bridesmaid or anything? If she wasn't she just looks ridiculous and she should be embarassed.

But on a side note...I don't really see what the big deal is if someone wears a white dress to a wedding. The OP in on the 2010 board even admitted she didn't even notice her guest in white, so it really didn't affect her day at all. NO ONE is going to overshadow the bride...everyone knows who she is. That being said...I wouldn't do it myself.

No, she wasn't in the bridal party. The bride was annoyed but then let it roll off her shoulders. Everyone told this girl to change and she changed into shorts and a t-shirt someone had. Really weird.

WOW...what a weirdo.

ETA: In this particular case...I do see a problem. This girl clearly knew what she was doing when she wore that dress to the wedding. I would NOT be okay with that. I mean she matches right down to that red sash!
