When should I take our cake out of the freezer?

Our anniversary is on Saturday, when should I move the cake from the freezer to the fridge to thaw?

we took ours out 3days b4 i left it out for a few hours b4 we ate it yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was away the week before but home for our anniversary. My mom took it out of the freezer and put it in the fridge 2 days before. It was perfect.

Thanks everyone! I'm so excited to eat it, I only got to take like 2 bites on our wedding day and I remember it being yummy but I can't remember exactly what it tasted like.

Our anniversary was a Sunday so on Friday I tranferred the cake from freezer to fridge. Then on Sunday I left the cake out on the counter for about a half hour before we cut into it. It was so good we took the rest of it on vacation with us (knowing we'd have a full kitchen at the hotel),

Also, I don't know if how the cake was made has anything to do with it but ours was yellow cake with cannoli filling, whipped cream on top but then sealed in white ganache. I think the ganache helped preserve the cake.
