Where are you riding out the storm?

Home with hubby? Drinking with friends???


I'm in Long Beach and we're debating on whether or not to get the he ll out of there or not. We will probably wait a bit and see if we are getting evacuated.

If we stay, we'll probably be drinking with the neighbors somewhere then home with hubby at night- If we go, we'll probably go back to my dad's in Smithtown and hang with my brothers.

staying home with the kittens. DH is off all weekend which is good, but we have a downstairs apartment. A little nervous but they just put a new roof on our building so hopefully no leaks.

I'm doing a bunch of baking too so I have some snacks!

And I will be getting my seltzer and cranberry on while DH has his gin and tonic. BOO.

Blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. My girlfriends wedding shower is on Sunday. It's in westchester and I somehow have to make it there. I'm a bridesmaid so I NEED to be there. I drive a little hyundai and there's no way it will make it through a hurricane/flooding. I already asked my DH to drive me there in his wrangler and then just hangout either at a bar or in the car reading his book. SUCKS!

We'll be home. I'm in Queens on the 12th floor so hoping it won't be much of an affect. Gotta hide my tomato and pepper plant indoors

We will probably head to the in-laws house in Smithtown. Our apartment is on the second floor and I don't trust the way the house is built!

We will surely die if we stay there. but I'm actually a little serious

It's at a restaurant. Apparently her mom already called them and asked if she can reschedule and they told her the only way they would close is if the 'building was blown away.' UGH. If it's really THAT bad then I can't imagine we would go. I'd just feel horrible, though. She doesn't have many close friends and I can imagine she's going to have a bunch of cancellations because of the weather to begin with.

Umm my coworker just emailed that her building manager said that downtown manhattan may even be evacuated?!?!

Is that extreme or what? holyyy moly.

I will ride it out at home with hubby and puppy. We were supposed to go to the Mets game but I am guessing its not an option now.

We'll be at home. I've got a completely stocked wine fridge and bar, so we should be good We're going food shopping either tonight or tomorrow, and I'll probably spend the day cleaning the house.

I'm in Queens, so at home with DH and probably my wifey. Sunday nights are True Blood so we always hang out and cook dinner together.
