Who's fault is it?
Person A goes to the cabinet and takes something out, leaving the cabinet open. Person B goes later on to the cabinet, takes something out and closes the door. About 2 hours later the couple tries to find the cat before bed. Person B opens the cabinet door and out runs the cat.Who's fault is it that she was locked in there for 2 hours? She never made a sound.
I will give more detail after the poll. There is not right or wrong answer.

Re: Who's fault is it?
I would say person A is at fault for leaving the door open originally...person B woulnd't know to check for a cat before closing the door, right? This question is hilarious

Re: Who's fault is it?
oh no, did this happen with you and fh?!?!?!im going to say both are at fault
if person A didnt leave it open the cat would never have gotten in there. however, person B must have noticed it was open when they went to it, and when you live with small pets you have to check for these things so they should have checked prior to closing the cabinet.

Re: Who's fault is it?
EEK - this sounds like something that happened with my cat.... except I was Person A AND Person B!
I always leave the linen closet open in the morning because I'm going in and out of it, getting my blow dryer, hair straightener, make up, etc... And sure enough, one morning as I was flying around getting ready for work, I just hit the door closed on my way out and sure enough, POOR KITTY was trapped inside ALL DAY!! I felt terrible and she made a point to pee on everything to let me know how pisssed she was.
I don't blame her - I was the jerky for leaving the door open and then not checking to see if she snuck in before I left

both! each A & B played a part in that cat getting locked in that cabinet.but really, it's the cat's fault for going in there in the first place

Re: Who's fault is it?
Hands down A. The cat never would've had an opportunity to get in if they hadn't left the cabinet door open. And just the fact that the cabinet door was open would drive me bananas!
