WHOO HOO!
I just booked our REAL honeymoon cruise!! We went on a cruise right after the wedding but with 16 other family members! It was a great time, but we hardly had any time to ourselves and it definitely did not feel like a honeymoon. So this is our gift to ourselves!!!We're taking a 7 day cruise leaving from Miami and the brand spanking new Norwegian Epic and visiting Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Roatan! Cozumel had a really nice swimming with the dolphins excursion so I think I'm gonna book that, too! I've done it before, but DH missed out and he was kicking himself. Other than that, I'm just excited for TONS of food, Mayan ruins, and lots of SUN!

awesome!!! im sooo jealous that you'll be getting to experience that ship!!! im planning a cruise myself for next spring... some of the same ports... i heard roatan is beautiful!

It really looks it! I've never been to any of those stops!
And I am ridiculously excited for the Epic... that's honestly half the reason we decided to do it!

That's really awesome!!! You guys are gonna have such an amazing time!!!!Don't do the swimming with the dolphins though...not sure if you want to watch a depressing documentary, but I watched The Cove and ever since I can't bring myself to fund or visit dolphins in captivity.

Sounds like a lot of fun! We went to Riviera Maya for our HM and went to the Mayan Ruins. Although it was a neat experience, I wouldn't do it again. Do you know which ruins they have excursions for?

I know. It's true. And usually I'm the first to preach- you know I always have to open my big mouth on this site about dove/butterfly releases.
Butttt, the same could be said for zoos, aquariums, the Shamu show, etc. And I've done all those things. They actually have a crapload of really cool shore excursions (23 pages, I jsut printed them!) so we're gonna go through and check it out. But trust me, I appreciate your point of view and agree!
I'm just so excited to go and you guys are getting me even more excited! lol! Thanks ladies!

Let's see, they have Chacchoben Mayan Ruins and Kohunlich Mayan ruins! Either ring a bell? I'm sure they have other ones at the port, but these are the only two offered through NCL.
