WOW! Fabulous day!

I think I just may need to play the lotto today.

It started off with my 2nd ever 10k (I just started running in December and have signing up for a few races).

I ran a 10k in Jericho on a pretty difficult course (compared to what I'm used to) with quite a few hills. I was hoping to beat my previous 10k time of 59:59. I crossed the finish line at 56:53, cutting over 3 minues off of my best time.

THEN my dad (who finished 4th overall- he's crazy fast) tells me he thought I won in my age/gender division. I won 3rd for females 25-29!!! I got a bronze medal.

THEN I went to go get some after race goodies and they had...............................PANCAKES (as many of you know my personal favorite of all time). I gobbled those up!

THEN they had a raffle. I won a 'Meal Maker Multi Cooker'. I havent gotten a good look at it yet, but it has a lot of bells and whistles. Says it can 'boil, steam AND fry.' I just like to win raffles though.

When I got home (on Cloud 9), DH asked if I wanted to go to the bar to watch the giants.. MIght as well...I did all my errands and cleaning yesterday. They had one of those pools going on where you bought boxes. So we got 5 (they were $2 each).

Well....we ended up winning $175 (2nd quarter, half time AND final!!) for the day. Lunch was paid and I have an extra $55 in my pocket!

All in all, FABULOUS DAY! I should probably play the lotto
