WWYD?

You're scheduled to leave for Florida tomorrow morning for 4 days, but this morning you learned that your friend's father passed away.

You're not 'best' friends, but you've been consistent friends for the past 12-15 years.

Side note: Jet Blue is offering free change fees and cancellations due to inclement weather.

Do you cancel your trip (no fees to do so) to attend the wake and be there for your friend or continue with your vacation as planned?

I would probably cancel the trip, and be there for the friend. Especially since there's a way to get all fees returned, and given the weather this weekend. But mainly to be there for a friend, who's probably going through a really rough time now.
