Your wedding budget

I just found my excel sheet with my wedding budget (estimated and actual).
I noticed I came in under budget by $3780.00

Was wondering on a whole how did you guys do?
Over or Under budget?

We went over budget on the actual wedding by about $4,000 I think- because I didn't add in originally the costs of rings, officiant (I thought it was $50 hah), violin, and then we added in video. We also went over on our honeymoon by about $3K.

over budget (not counting our honeymoon in it) by about 2k. THis was our second budget after we raised our initial by 10K.

after we doubled our original unrealistic budget, we were still over $13k w/ the HM

I'm honestly not sure we had one since we really didnt know what to expect to spend...if we did, we went over it for sure.

THIS! At most we were $1000 over, but considering the total cost, I think that was negligible. A lot of the last minute things (like adding programs, OOT bags, flip flops baskets) contributed to that, but otherwise we were on budget. CRAZY

I'm honestly not sure we had one since we really didnt know what to expect to spend...if we did, we went over it for sure.

we didn't set out with a budget either - DH & I paid for it all and as we went along, we just asked how much things cost and decided whether we wanted to pay that $$ to include it ... i.e. - the first choice for our reception was an outdoor space that needed EVERYTHING rented - the caterer gave us a $18k quote before we even talked food - that, we knew, was a no go ... in the end, we were satisfied with what we spent ...

We never considered our Honeymoon apart of the 'wedding' budget - that had a spread sheet and budget of its own...

Wedding wise... (God! What a spread sheet!! ) .........we were UNDER budget, by $$326.20 exactly!!

Budget...hahaa.

How can you come in under budget?

I don't think we really had a budget. Initialyl we said $30K. Then we said, ok, $40K, but then when the hall alone was $30K we knew it would be a lot more. I think when I made my wedding wire budget I put in $55K as a baseline and we spent something around $60K.
