Mother Nature – A++++++
It was supposed to rain on my wedding. My eyes were glued to the weather channel, hoping they will change it. The night before the wedding they still said it was going to rain, so all my bridesmaids and family ran to Michael’s to make a white umbrella, so at least I could do it in style!! Turns out, it didn’t rain one bit! I was so happy!!


Rehearsal dinner – Sea Haven Restaurant - A
Great food! They gave us our own room, we had 22 people. Prices weren’t bad either. The cake wasn’t that great though.


Invitations – Commack Wedding Center – B+
They have many to choose from. I found THE ONE and was told by the women that there might not be enough room to write the invite text (parents are divorced and needed extra lines) we had to pay 8.00 per proof (we got two) but they came out great in the end.


Favors – La Favoritas – A+
I picked Italian candle holders for favors and had them wrapped at the store. They came out very nice I was impressed! I had them two weeks before the wedding also. The guests loved them!



Dress – Demetrios Macys – A
I loved my dress. It was actually the second one I tried on. The sales lady was very helpful both times I went.

Dress – Alterations Macys – D
Ok I knew how I wanted my dress to fit but the alteration person thought differently. I wanted the straps tighter, and the dress fitted more but she did it her way. I thought it was ok when I tried it on but during the wedding I kept pulling it up because it didn’t fit correctly. I suggest not getting alterations there.

Veil and Tiara – Commack Wedding Center – A+
I was happy with my veil and loved my tiara. The sales lady was very helpful when picking them out.

Shoes – bridalpeople.com
My shoes were killing me and they were ballet slippers!! They were cutting off my circulation around my heel. Maybe they were too tight…but they were really pretty!!

Limos - Mark of Elegance Limos Commack Wedding Center – C
The limos were nice. I got a 12 and 8 passenger. They arrived on time. The drivers were VERY nice men. BUT there was no champagne??? Just Vodka. No toast on the way to the reception ?

Hair – Kim – A+++++++
Kim was great!! She’s a family friend and works at a salon. I had two trials first with an updo and then half up, half down. I didn’t like the updo on me so we went with half up half down. Well the day of the wedding I had a cold and it was soooo hot in the church (no a/c) so my hair was doing too good. To my surprise she came to Chateau La Mer just before cocktail hour to fix me up! It was sooo nice of her I was beaming! LOL

Makeup – Ann Marie A+++++++
Along with the hairdresser, the makeup lady also came to Chateau La Mer to fix me up. I thought it was so sweet!! My makeup did stay on despite all the dancing I did.


Chateau La Mer – A++
Chateau La Mer made my wedding soooo special!! Everything was PERFECT! All the guests were raving about the food and how much fun they had. The chocolate fountain was a BIG hit. Definitely get it. Nick was great and so was my bridal attendant. Stains on my dress, food, drink she was there!! The boat ride was so fun!! It was actually relaxing after all the stress and the pictures the photographer took on the boat were beautiful. I do recommend if you take pictures by the gazebo to get it decorated because you can see the hooks in my pictures ? The new bridal suite is really nice except no couches!! The bathroom is huge and beautiful! I gave them all my decorations and a list of how I wanted them set up. The only thing was, they lost my seashells ?

DJ – Variety Music – A++++++
I loved the DJ!! My fiancés family is Turkish so we asked him to play some Turkish music. That was a big hit!! Everyone was dancing non-stop all night. He knew how to keep the party going! He played a variety of music, I didn’t give him a “no-play” list. He even got my parent to dance which was quite a shocker!!

Photography– Commack Wedding Center – A++++
They were great and took 350 pictures. Photographer and video person were friendly. I loved the poses!! I took half candid half formal. I got my proofs really quick, less than a month after the wedding. I just can’t decide which ones to go in the album. I recommend getting the photographer assistant; he helped with lighting and changing the film.


Video – Commack Wedding Center – NA

Flowers – Commack Wedding Center – A
I loved the flowers, exactly what I wanted!! Price wasn’t bad either. Mistakenly I forgot to order 3 more centerpieces because I had 13 tables instead of the 10. The florist came to the reception and dropped off three more. But they weren’t the same they had like one flower. The thing is they are trying to charge me now for these centerpieces, what I paid for my normal centerpieces. I don’t think this is fair it wasn’t the same centerpiece at all. But hopefully it will work out..


Tuxedos – Commack Wedding Center – A+++
No complaints from the guys! They had a tie that matched exactly with my bridesmaids’ dresses. It was perfect!

Honeymoon – St. Thomas, St. John, VI - A++++
We LOVED St.Thomas!! It was such a nice honeymoon. We rented a cottage instead of staying at a resort and rented a car. It was very secluded; we had our own pool, kitchen, etc. even our own pet cat!! We did not want to leave and will definitely be back!!

I love your BM's dresses, very pretty!

Glad to hear someone else had a good experience with Commack Wedding Center, I also used them for many services and was very happy.....thankfully we did have plenty of champagne in the limos!
