11/2/03 Wedding Review

Well, I'm finally back and in the process of moving, but I figured I would right up a quick review...It's so funny the day goes so fast I really don't remember much of anything. We both had a great time though and that's what counts.

RD at Peppercorns in Hicksville - A+++++ They were very nice, the service was awesome, and the food was even better. The room upstairs is a nice size and can accomadate a lot more than our party of 30. I would reccomend to anyone especailly a smaller sized bridal or baby shower.

Islandia Marriott - B
The woman we worked with there was very nice, but she advised that she would have a few things in the room such us a fridge and a long mirror, etc and we had a problem actually getting it on that day which was a little frustrating. Otherwise the hotel was very nice, room service was good and they were very flexible with check out times, helping with vedors and guests coming and going.

Pro-Line Studios - A++ (for service - I haven't seen any pics yet) Our photographers were great to work with. They arrived early - didn't rush me at all to get through the pics. Our main photographer was George and he was so nice and really helped ease the tension and nerves. I really hope the pics came out good because we loved working with the whole team Pro-Line provided.

Royalty Limos - A+++
Once again they arrived early, and really did a great job corrdinating everything. If it wasn't for one of the drivers I would have walked down the isle chewing gum. Right before the church doors opened I ditched it int he hands of one of the drivers, It was so funny. I can't say enough for all of the services the limo company provides on that day. They were so well organized and very, very nice to work with.

Flowers by Michele - A++++
As we have all read before - another sucessful job by John at Flower Michele. I thought the flowers came out beautiful. Especially the centerpieces at the hall. I received so many compliments espeailly about the rose petals on the table. I can't tell you how many people mentioned that. I thought it was so funny because it's just an add on to the centerpiece, but it made the final touch.

George Nichols - A
George played at our cocktail hour. Unfortunately I didn't get in to hear him, but he arrived early and one of my BM's FH has decided to now have a piano play at their coctail hour as well so I guess he did a good job. He is a hard man to please.

Watermill - A++++
I think everything at the watermill was great. I really don't rememebr too much at all, but I think everyone was well fed and drank their fill. We received a ton of compliments so I think they did a great job. We had such a good time and our bridal assistent Anabel was a doll. She was always there when we needed something. Our drinks were always full and we even managed to have part of our dinner - which we shoveled down our throats.

Body Rock DJ's - A
I was very happy with Body Rock DJ's. The only thing though is we requested two songs to dance to other than the first dance and they played them while the Viennese Table were on the Dance floor. Otherwise I think the music was good. It is all such a blur but people were dancing. I can't wait to see the video to see how the night really went.
