Wedding dress and Bridesmaids dresses..MACY’S Bridal Salon, Lake Grove A

• At the time of ordering my gown, I worked there, so I really had no problems. Because their prices are too high for alterations, I brought my gown elsewhere, and all of my bridesmaids had their dresses altered elsewhere too. I would not recommend this bridal salon at THIS particular time, because they are having serious management issues, and the entire crew is new, so just be careful, and check up on your orders.

Tuxes MENS WAREHOUSE Lake grove B

• I have heard so many nightmare stories about this place, I was afraid to use them, but with a bridal party spread across the country, it was our best option. Most everything ran smoothly, except for one tux that was supposed to go to a store in Florida, it ended up being shipped to some unknown place. So last minute, it was sent to the store in New York, so my husband could pick it up, thankfully it fit well, otherwise I have no complaints, it was an easy place to deal with

Invitations M & R Designs in Port Jefferson…carlson craft B

• They don’t usually order invitations, but this is a friend of mine, that I now work for, It went MOSTLY smooth, I was shorted on the envelopes, and did not get the “fancy” ones I ordered. But I am laid back, and let it go, the invitations were beautiful, I got many compliments, Carlson Craft has good quality.

Wedding day jewelry M & R design in Port Jefferson A+++++

• okay, so this was easy for me, because I started working there one day a week, I specialize in bridal jewelry…I made my own, I of course think it was beautiful and perfect..LOL Triple strande swarovski crystal bracelet and necklace, and drop earrings. I had to design my own, because of the color of my dress.

FLOWERS….STEFANS A++

• Flowers were gorgeous..I wasn’t too crazy about my bouquet, so they changed it up for me last minute, and I got tons of compliments, I LOVED the bridesmaids flowers, centerpieces, etc….all PERFECT

DJ… AFTER HOURS A++

• Phil did a great job, he stayed on top of everything!!! I was the slacker, the only think I didn’t think was worth it was the percussion, I don’t know how much I really noticed it anyway… I’ll have to ask around and see what other people thought, or check out the video. But the dance floor was packed all night…..that’s all that matters!

Johnny Travolta Impersonator…Phil Francavilla A++++++++

• Okay so this was a friend of mine that did the show as a gift. I was a little nervous people might think we were nuts…which we are, but seriously it went over soooo well, EVERYONE was up dancing, and LOVED his show, I HIGHLY recommend him for some wedding entertainment…very different and FUN FUN FUN

• we made red chocolate hearts and dark chocolate peanut clusters, and put them in a box with our monogram. We also had scrolls with a donation to the American heart association in memory of my husbands father.


Hair Dori at Vivid Image Salon,

• I just went to my regular hairstylist, I LOVE how my hair came out and it held up all day even with the crazy wind conditions that day.

Makeup Lindsey Van DYKE

• Two of my bridesmaids and myself let her do our makeup…she did a fabulous job, so many people kept saying we looked like movie stars..haha Okay so may-be this is a stretch, but we really did get TONS of compliments, it lasted ALL NIGHT…she is just an awesome awesome person to work with, I cannot recommend her enough..Oh AND reasonable prices!

HOTEL for guests..and Bridal suite for us. FOUR POINTS SHERETON IN PLAINVIEW A

• they just did a great job, they made sure each guest had their oot gift bags, the beds were soooo comfortable, so much so that hubby and I are going to order one, LOL…our bridal suite was beautiful, rose petals everywhere, champagne, dozen roses in a vase…I highly recommend this for wedding night!

Officiant, reverend Janine Burns A++++++

• she did a FANTASTIC job, had everyone in tears..or maybe that was my fault, for crying so much..haha, but seriously we got a tremendous amount of compliments for her…..I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone….FABULOUS!

String Trio.. CAPRICCIO ENSEMBLE A

• Beautiful music, and we played more current rock than we did classic traditional music….the GUESTS LOVED it, I didn’t hear too much because I was in some sort of emotional state, but what I did here was Magical!

• I will reserve a rating until I see some photos, but I think he did a wonderful job, I am a little upset that we missed some important pictures, but the night went so fast, I could hardly keep up…oh well! He went way above and beyond what we asked and paid for. Granted he was a friend of ours, but I would definitely recommend him!

• Again, I will reserve rating until I see outcome, but mike was a pleasure to deal with!

• Let me just say if you are getting married here….it will be 100% perfect! No worries, they keep track of everything, you just get to be the nervous /excited bride, they will take care of everything else. Janet the bridal attendant was FABULOUS…and I cannot say anough about the Matre D Gerold!!! HE ROCKS!!!!! Granted My Husband works here as a bartender so I think we got extra special attention, plus half the workers were actually ATTENDING the wedding. One of the coordinators brought in a whole bunch of candles from his home to decorate the place even more. This was the most wonderful wedding day I could have ever dreamed up. Also, we decided on Gatsby style wedding, this went over AWSOME with the gusets, even the older more traditional ones, the room looks so cool in this fashion, with sofa areas, very relaxed/comfortable atmosphere. Sue, Cindy and another Sue (who actually helped My DH propose)….Kudos to you ladies for helping me, and just being so understanding, you made the entire process very easy. I really had no worries! People cannot stop complimenting the Carlyle, and anyone who has a family member getting married soon, is recommending this place. JUST WONDERFUL!
