Wow, what an amazing experience. Our wedding was spectacular, we could not have gotten better weather. Pictures to follow.

Bridal Shop - A
Moonlight Couture – Merrick
My sister and I went to over five Bridal Salons before I found my dress. When the bridal attendant took it out, I thought it was pretty but not for me. She insisted I try it 'just for fun.' As soon as I put it on, I knew it was the one. The service was so good, we wound up going back to get my girls dresses and my Mom’s

Tuxes - A
Men’s Wearhouse – Plainview
We worked with Jillian at this location and she was excellent. She sat with us for about forty five minutes, looking at the swatch I had from the girls dresses and the all of tuxedo vests they had. All of the guys’ tuxes were perfect and they even came in early.

Girl’s Shoes
Sandy’s Shoes – Massapequa
I originally found the shoes I wanted the girls to wear at Hazel’s House of Shoes in Bayside. I was not impressed with their service. My sister and I tried a few more places and Sandy’s had the best price and they were great to deal with.

Wedding Rings – B-
Elsa’s – Farmingdale
My engagement ring is a family heirloom and the setting it is in is over 40 years old. For this reason, we decided to have our wedding rings custom made. Parts of the experience at Elsa’s were very nice and in the end our rings are beautiful.
We knew exactly what we wanted for DH’s ring and had a basic idea of what we wanted for my ring. This allowed the ring design portion to be fairly short. We worked with Stephan most of the time and for the most part he was okay. The reason I gave them a B- is because two of the three appointments we have to wait for almost an hour before we even got to do anything. We had to have them change the prongs on my ring twice because they were uneven. Stephan was very pushy about us posting a good review for them on LI Weddings. When we had the rings appraised they appraised for $200 less than we paid for them.

Engagement Party - A
VFW – Massapequa (by train station)
Both sets of parents insisted that we have an engagement party. We really did not want one but we decided to do a family gathering so everyone could get to know each other. Everyone brought something and we had a party at the VFW hall. The hall was great, nice clean, big room and the price for an open bar was extremely reasonable.

Hotel
Wingate Inn – Garden City
The hotel was great and everyone loved the shuttle bus service. They didn’t have a problem handing out OOT bags even though I forgot to give them any warning. The suite that we had was huge and beautiful.

Flowers - A
City Line – New Hyde Park
I did not want standard roses or to spend a fortune on flowers. I did not need centerpieces because the hall provided them. I loved working with Marie @ City Line. She was very patient and knew exactly what I wanted. Our flowers turned out absolutely beautiful. I got so many compliments on them.

Limo - A
Royalty Limo – Franklin Square
Manny was excellent to deal with. He was really understanding and down to earth. He made you feel like he really cared about making you happy and worked hard to do it. We decided on their 32 passenger Limo bus and boy am I glad we did. We had a great time and our driver was absolutely fantastic.

Make-Up - A
Gorgeous Faces - Jillian
My one and only make-up trial was with Jillian. I booked her as soon as she was done. She did a wonderful job on all of the members of my wedding party, who decided to have their make-up done.

Hair
My Friend Cassie
Cassie has been a friend of the family since her and my sister were in Jr. High school. She is currently a manager at a Salon and the only person who cuts my and DH's hair. She did my hair, MOH, MOB, Jr. Bridesmaid and one of the bridesmaids. Everyone looked great and their styles fit their personalities really well.

Photo/Video - A
Duet – Huntington Station
We had Alberto and Gio for Photography and Michael for Videography. We had met Alberto for our casual day and had a good rapport with him. We knew that he was good because we loved his shots from the casual day. The other two were easy to get comfortable with. Everyone keeps commenting that they can not wait to see our proofs and video b/c our photo and video guys were there for everything. Not obtrusive or annoying at all but always were the action was.

DJ - A
High Voltage Sounds – Massapequa
Our night flowed perfectly even though we had given Vinny the wrong info in one of our emails. He double checked with us before he introduced everyone. The party was a blast, and a lot of it had to do with Vinny. He kept everyone up and dancing all night and let me tell you we had a really mixed crowd. Everyone was up there together having fun. I had so many people ask me where did you find this guy, he is great.

Hall – A+
Stewart Manor Country Club
Words can not express how fantastic James and the whole crew at Stewart Manor were. James was there for us every step of the way and when he wasn’t able June was there to assist. We had built up such a good working relationship with James that people were asking if we were old friends. People are still raving about the food during the Cocktail Hour. There was never an empty glass at our table or those surrounding us. I can’t vouch for everyone but I do know that at one point during cocktail hour the bar was overwhelmed with people and James himself jumped behind and poured drinks. (my family likes their cocktails) The reception was perfect, elegant and fun.

Thanks The girls dresses are seperates by Impressions bridal. The color is burgandy.
