December 8th 2006 was the best day of my life. I married my best friend and had one heck of a party. There were little glitches but I didn’t care as far as I am concerned it was PERFECT.

Oheka Castle: A++++
This was my dream location for my wedding. I have wanted to get married there ever since I was 12. Its such an incredible place filled with incredible people. My attendants were great and I really did feel like a Princess. Oheka is worth every single penny. PS the beds at the hotel are like sleeping on a cloud. The next morning they gave us a beautiful brunch. Everyone was RAVING about the wedding AND the beds!!!





Dan Zellan ( A Hank Lane band) A+
Tons of people asked about the band saying they were amazing and they really were. It felt like the real people singing every song. I even wrote a funny version of the Budweiser commercial “Real Men Of Genius” for my husband and they sang it for me!!! No problem. It made my husband laugh for days!! I have nothing bad to say about them they were the most professional sounding band I had ever heard

Natural Expressions Photography: A+
What can I say the pictures came out great and Frank is a great guy. He has a wonderful personality and was great all day long. You could not even notice that photographers were there. The pictures are awesome, the only bad thing is that they are copywrited so I can’t post them ?. Go see him for sure. Naturalexpressionsny.com

Pedestals A:
Our flowers were beautiful but a little on the pricey side. Also when my bouquet arrived it was missing Orchids and I was upset. Luckily a BM called them and they rushed them right over. That is the only reason they didn’t get an A+ from me. Nadia was very patient with me changing my mind a million times!!! I recommend them

Bride’s dress: Bridal Reflections Carle Place: A+
I loved my dress so much. I had tried on approx. 50 gowns before I found it. Jackie and the rest of the girls at Bridal Reflections were so helpful. Especially with my indecisiveness. It was perfectly altered, they even changed it for me the wed. before my Friday wedding!! I wanted it to be poofier haaaaa. I highly recommend them. They have an awesome selection and really helpful people.



Bridesmaids Dresses: Bridal Reflections: A
The dresses were gorgeous. I think all of the girls had a good experience there. They were very accommodating. The girl’s personalities in the Bridesmaids Dept. left a little to be desired, but other than that it was great.



MOB dress: Adrianne’s A
My mother looked like a supermodel. She got as many compliments on her dress as I did on mine haa. She had a good experience with thie store.

Tuxedo Park: A
The men there are soooo helpful and really nice. My husband and his groomsmen looked awesome. So classy. They are a bit high priced. The tuxedos wound up being 200 each. I think I could have probably found them for less but they were designer.

My Hair: Gary from Bocu Salon: A
Gary did an amazing job on my hair. I had two trials with him before and he did everything I asked him to do but the curls in my extensions kept falling out. Finally we decided to set them in pin curls the night before the wedding. He took the extensions home and set them. They opened the salon early for me (for a fee of course) and me my mother and sister were ready to go!!! The curls stayed in all night. I think they are still in my extensions as a matter of fact!! Gary is awesome but a little pricey.

Extensions: Beauty 35 A++++++
AMAZING. These extensions were so thick and beautiful. They were clip in and they measure them to fit your head. At Bocu they passed them around and could not believe that they were only 35 dollars. Highly recommended!!!!!


Bridesmaid’s hair: Khouloud’s beauty: A
Rosemarie and Kacy are awesome. They gave us an awesome price because they were new vendors on LIweddings. They came right to Oheka castle to do all my girls hair and they all came out beautiful. They are so nice too. They are really great people I highly recommend them. All the girls hair stayed in all night long. Even the BM with extensions and the one with hair like a horse (SO THICK).

Makeup for Me, Mom, and Maid of honor: Jill Harth: A+
I love Jill. She is an awesome person and she really knows what she is doing. I am a makeup artist myself so I am even more picky then most brides. She exceeded my expectations. My makeup stayed all night and she even gives you a palate with a powder, 2 blushes, and three eye shadows as well as your lipstick. This was great although I didn’t need a touch up I took it on my honeymoon and it was fabulous. I got the airbrush makeup which I highly recommend. I don’t like foundation because I hate how it feels on my face but I could not feel it at all. Jill is worth the money!!!


Bridesmaids Makeup: Sabrina (my friend) A+++
Sabrina did a great job, she did all 8 bridesmaids and worked so hard on each one. Everyone looked gorgeous. My guests kept saying how beautiful my bridal party was, and they were. Thanks Brina!!!

Limos: All Star A
After canceling another Limo company we found All Star and boy are we glad we did. We went with the Limo bus for the bridal party. They had the best time in the bus after the ceremony!! DH and I rode in an old fashioned Rolls Royce that was gorgeous but cold. The drivers were great, very friendly, and knew everything they had to do.


Shoes: My glass slipper:A
I loved my shoes. It was the only place I looked and I got them the first day, which is so unlike me. The girls were pleasant and they had a pretty good selection.

Honeymoon: Holland America Cruise: A+
I have cruised many times before but this was a totally different experience. We took an 11 day cruise to the Caribbean and stayed in a beautiful suite with a private veranda!!! We were treated like a king and queen the whole time. It is a luxury cruise line so the average age is around 60. We didn’t mind though we never had to fight for a pool spot or a spot at the bar!!! We had an unbelievable time.

Pre-honeymoon: Sofitel Washington DC: A
We drove to DC the day after our wedding because our cruise left from Virginia. This hotel is GORGEOUS and the staff rocks! They went out of their way to make us have a great honeymoon and we are so thankful for that. We will defiantly be back

Foryourparty.com: A
We got great napkins from this sight, personalized with our names and a saying “Eat Drink and be Married” they matched our color scheme and were reasonably priced.
