Harbor Club and other vendor review

Sorry this is so delayed I have not been on here in a very long time.

I am not a big fan of Long Island Weddings at all. I find them to all be too similar. We went with the Harbor Club because 1) Matt (the manager was amazing and really made us feel welcome and special), 2) the great view of the harbor, dock, and boats, 3) they only do one party at a time,4) there are beaches near by (and we wanted to do pics on the beach first) and 5) the menu options were much more elegant than what we had seen.

We had our wedding at Harbor Club Oct 2008. Everything was perfect. The staff was so attentive. It was beautiful and the food was AMAZING. Many people told us it was one of the best (if not THE BEST) wedding they had ever been to. Of course the seafood boat add-on was a BIG HIT...all the lobsters you can eat. We didn't even need the dinner after the amazing cocktail hour. The only thing I recommend is going with Fiorellos for the cake (we weren't a fan of the Rolling Pin). We now go to Fiorellos EVERYTIME we neeed a cake or dessert.

CAKE - Fiorello Dulce - AMAZING!!! The cake was absolutely beautiful. I gave Gerard a pic and he made it. (I have pics if you want). Also, it tasted amazing and now we get all of our cakes and pastries there regularly. I have had my 40th bday cake, and baby shower cake made there since the wedding! They make the BEST mouse fillings EVER. We had hazelnut mouse and raspberry mouse in the wedding cake.

LIMO - Top of the World Limo - Everything was great with the limo...Craig and Tammy made sure everything was perfect. Our driver was GREAT! He had to wait for me because it took forever for me to get into my corset dress. They took us to the beach for pics and then to the reception (although my limo had to stop back at the house quick cause I forgot my garter). www.topoftheworldlimo.com

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO - Capture Photo and Video - they were amazing. The photographer and videographer came to the house early for pics. The photographer actually had to help me in my dress because nobody had any idea how to do the corset dress. The video is beautiful and so are the pics.

FLOWERS - Flowers by Burton - I had an ivory bouquet for me and then the bridesmades and MOH bouquets were opposite of each other using burnt orange and wine colored flowers. Everything was more beautiful than I imaginedl!

DJ - Montage Music - DJ and MC was AMAZING. The dance floor was PACKED the entire night. He played exactly what I wanted and didn't play what I didn't want.

DRESS - Bridal Suite of Bayshore - Maryanne was AMAZING. I showed her 10 pics of dresses I wanted to try on. She didn't have all, but brought what she had and others she thought I might like. I ended up with one of the ones she thought I would like. The dress was beautiful. With her help it took me 3 minutes to pic the MOH and bridesmaid dresses (which were 2 different styles and colors). Everything went perfect and smooth with the dresses!! I have great pics if you want to see.

TUXEDOS - Ginos - Jennifer was SO helpful. We did something alittle different...Groom in Black Jacket, Ivory Vest and Ivory Shirt and Tie...Best Men in Black Jacket, Black Vest, and Ivory Shirt and Tie...Ushers in Black Jacket, Burgandy Vest, and Ivory Shirt and Tie... It worked out PERFECT.
