I feel like I've been gone forever. I'm baaaaacckkkkk!!!!!!!!! 9/26 wedding review(LONG w/ PICS)

O.K, where do I start. I have soooooooo much to say but so little room to say it in, lol. I can honestly say I am still beaming from my day. It was the most amazing, exciting and perfect day of my life!!!!!!!!! So cliché but SO true. All my dreams came true that day and all the $$$ and time spent planning it is SOOOOOOO worth it. I could go on and on but I would be here forever. It was forecasted to rain but not ONE drop fell. I had my outdoor ceremony and I loved every minute of it.

Quick re-cap before my review. As some of you know, the biggest disappointment in my planning process was my BP. Well, they did come through for my husbnad and I that day. I was pleasantly surprised to enter the reception room and find chair covers on my seats. They took it upon themselves to pay for my chair covers, ice sculpture and they extended my reception one hour. It was very touching. The BM that was going to get married that day didn’t. She came to her senses, LOL!!!!!!!

I MUST thank my wonderful LIW ladies for all your help and support. All the details do matter and without any of you, I’d be clueless. Thank you.

Special thanks to my MOH/Sister “Shyone”. She was simply amazing through this whole thing. Thanks “Sassy” for making my CD favors and “Latina511” for making my menus. I am so happy to have found “true” friend in Sassy, Latina511 and Alvatorre74. Hmichick, you were missed. I truly love you ladies, you are all sooooooooooo amazing!!!!!!!

Review: ( based on 1-10)

Hair- Leiny from Celi’s Salon in Westbury -9. I loved my hair and she does a great job. She is my regular hairdresser. 9 because she was running a tad late

Make-up- Jacqueline Nicole -10. What a SWEETHEART!!!!! She is truly talented and a doll to work with. She did me, my mom, MOH, aunt and 5 BM’s.

Dress- Bridal Garden in Bethpage- 9.5. HATED my dress after ordering it but LOVED it once on me. It took almost 6 months to come in but no hassles whatsoever. Ordered my BM dresses too. 9.5 b/c they have limited selection but it worked for me. A pleasure to work with.

FG dress- Bridal reflections in Carle Place- 10. No hassle, beautiful dress.

Tuxes- (Thanks latina511). Elite tuxedos in Westbury. Worked with Bobby. 10. Very professional and beautiful suits. The guys looked great. No hassles!!!

Flowers- Flower Michele- 10!!!!! What can I say that hasn’t been said already. I LOVE JOHN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is the most caring, wonderful, amazing and talented Florist I have ever met. He made me cry, LOL!!!!!! He is genuine and sincere and willing and able to work with you. See pictures attached.

Innvitations and paper items- LA Productions. 10!!!!!. Oh boy, I really lucked out with all my vendors. I truly felt like Laura was part of my day. I didn’t jump on the bandwagon with her b/c I was only her SECOND customer (Thanks Sassy) but I felt a connection immediately. She made my custom invitations, tear packets, STD magnets, programs, BM Cards, GM cards, parent cards, shadow box, program baskets and FG basket, RB pillow and sign in items. Working with her was like working with a friend. She is an amazing woman with an amazing business.

Limos- Royalty 10. Wonderful drivers, clean cars, great prices.

Pianist- Jim Lowe 10. Sounded so beautiful I didn't even realize he was there. Great to work with.

MIL Make-up- Marie Katz- 10. We changed our minds so many times and she was so patient. My MIL looked great. Marie is a doll.

Tiara and Veil- C&H in Tri County- 9. Loved my items but found them cheaper elsewhere after I bought them. Oh well.

Photographer- Cassarino studios- Score to be determined by pictures but 10 for great chemistry with photographers. I had Dom B. as main guy and Franco as Photojournalist. Loved both of them.

Video- North Shore Video- Mike Parissi- Again score to be determined by video but 10 for personality. He is a doll an very unobtrusive. I bothered him many times and he was so accommodating. A pleasure to work with him.

DJ- 10!!!!!!! (I’d rather keep his info private b/c he is now an independent DJ but if you want the info. please FM me). I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. He kept my floor jam packed and I am still getting compliments. He was AMAZING!!!! He even made people who don’t dance, dance. I was sooooooooooo pleased!!! I highly recommend him for Latin weddings. He made my wedding.

Saved the best for last:
Ceremony and reception- Leonard’s of Great Neck-
10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I second guessed myself so much (right Latina511, LOL!!!!) BUT I could not have asked for a more beautiful and professional location. They truly outdid themselves. From the service to the food to the staff I was treated like a queen. I was sooooooooooooooo happy. I loved EVERYTHING!!!!!!! If you need more details, FM me.

YAY, my girl is back!! :) I am SOOO happy for you and your hubby, I am getting all emotional seeing your pics again. Not to mention how poor Dave had to listen to me go on and on about 'what Karina is doing right now' on the way to Syracuse on your wedding day- after that, he said it was almost like being there :) LOL.
