My 1/16/05 Wedding Review!!!

Here's my review.....I'll post pics soon :o)

***Everything…I mean everything went off without a hitch….We were sooo happy***

CEREMONY & RECEPTION --- Verdi’s of Westbury– Well surpassed all of our expectations, they went above and beyond…Food, service, our maitr’d Mike, my bridal attendant Donna, the wonderful staff of waiters/waitresses and bartenders…I highly recommend them.. From Cocktail Hour to dessert…..everything was fantastic! WWW.VERDIS.COM

OFFICIANT --- Reverend Callahan -- Excellent, we did a ‘sand ceremony’ in place of the traditional candle ceremony which was different… What a nice guy, easy going, will work with you to create the ceremony of your dreams WWW.REVERENDCALLAHAN.COM

HAIR – Hair Genie – Jenn --- Recommended by LANABEAN (Lana), Jenn was an absolute doll…! She did my hair, as well as my mom’s and sister in laws all in under 3 hours!! Excellent!!!

MAKEUP – Makeup by Brianne – …..I don’t wear makeup on a regular basis, so she worked her magic…Great job!…

FLOWERS --

Flowers by Burton – Excellent…..We ordered my bouquet, the boutonnières for the guys, and 3 arrangements for the reception…..delivered on time and flowers were beautiful....

EBAY….I ordered silk bouquets for the girls from a seller on Ebay (I don’t remember her name off hand) but she was great to deal with……**if anyone is interested I can find out add’l info**

Jenn Blossoms – Jenn is a floral design student, I was recommended to her by someone on theknot….She decorated our arch for the ceremony….very creative and will work with your budget… WWW.JENNBLOSSOMS.COM

PHOTOGRAPHY – Queens Bridal Center --- Love them!! William was our photographer, very nice, can’t wait to see the proofs……I’ll give an update once we receive the proofs….

VIDEOGRAPHY – Commack Wedding Center – This was a last minute decision…weren’t sure if we really wanted the video…..We didn’t even know he was there!! Just what we were looking for….. I’ll give an update once we receive the video….

MUSIC

DJ – Entertainment by Chris & Priscilla --- Chris runs the company with his girlfriend Priscilla…very professional and kept the guests on their feet all night…

FRANK SINATRA SINGER – Elite Music – Excellent!!! As a surprise for my husband I booked a Frank Sinatra singer (Jim) , he was unbelievable!! He sang for an hour during dinner….highly recommend..

MY DRESS – Gown Find – Phyllis ….I ordered my dress from her as well as the bridesmaid dresses…she also did the alterations…Cannot rave enough! She is a doll!!

FLOWERGIRL DRESSES --- WWW.BRITCHESANDBOWS.COM --- Adorable dresses…they are white with a black satin sash…….

HONEYMOON –

ARUBA --- We stayed at the Renaissance Aruba and we had an ocean suite (facing the ocean) unbelieveable…best aspect of this hotel is that as a Renaissance guest you have access to their private island (it has a beach, food service, bar), we had a couples massage in their private cove on the island it was fantastic…. The weather was in the mid 80’s all week…..Cannot wait to go back! We had a blast…..

**Anyone need information on any of the vendors I listed or Aruba….just Page Me on THEKNOT

Wedding and Honeymoon go tooo quickly….ENJOY EVERY MINUTE!!!

Hopefully I didn't miss anything...
