My 10/8 review of our wedding at the Amazing Milleridge Cottage with Pics

I was not a frequent poster on this site but I always found the Reviews helpful. I am sorry if its all over the place but its late and if I didn’t do it now I never would.

Mother nature was not very nice that day but we didn’t let it bother us. Everything went smoothly and all the vendors went above and beyond our expectations. Most of vedores I used were not LIW vendors. I wrote something brief about each vendor so if you want more information please FM me.


Milleridge Cottage 10++++
All I can say is that this place is absolutely wonderful. We knew from the moment we walked into the Cottage this was where we wanted to have our wedding. Kristy was our BM and she was amazing. She was there to help us every step of the way. The food was amazing as was the cake (not dry at all). We chose Crepe Florentine for the appetizer and Chateaubriand, Salmon with hollandaise sauce and chicken with champagne sauce for the Entrees. For the dessert we chose the ice cream and had chocolate cake with chocolate mouse. I showed Kristy a picture of a cake I saw on this site and they duplicated it. I was totally in awe when I saw the cake- I loved it. We highly recommend the cottage and all you future Milleridge brides have nothing to worry about. They truly take care of you and are with you the whole process. Samir was our Maite D and I forgot the name of the Bridal Attendant but both were great and always made sure we had a drink or something to eat.

GQ Productions- 10++++
Anthony and his crew truly outdid themselves. We’ve used them before for my 30th and our engagement party. If you want an amazing DJ who is very affordable we highly recommend them. They kept the dance floor packed ALL night. We even went till 12:15 and everyone was still asking for more.


Multi-media Video- 10++++
We used Holden of Multi-media video because a friend of mine referred me to him and he worked with my photographer before so we knew they would both be comfortable with each other. He does great work and is a super nice guy.


Jovon Pace Photography 10+++++++++++++
All I can say is WE LOVE TELMO. I know this place gets some bad reps but let me tell you they have been nothing but the best. Always returned my calls and answered any questions we had. Telmo was my main photographer and John was my photojournalist. We haven’t gotten the proofs yet but I will go by the proofs I got back from my Engagement Shoot- amazing and stunning. Telmo has an incredible gift that everyone should be able to experience. Since it rained that day he did everything he could to get the best shots and didn’t mind standing out in the pouring rain. Anyone who wants a great photographer go see Telmo at Jovon.

All Star Limo 10++++
We had the limo bus and the Rolls Royce. The Rolls Royce was used to pick my mom and I up to take us to the church. The limo bus picked the guys up in queens and dropped them off at the church and then came to my house to pick up the girls. They were on time and extremely nice. When we first booked All Star they had a 32-passenger bus but when Debbie called me the Friday before she said we are getting the new 45-passenger bus and we were the first to use it. This bus was amazing. It was like have a pre-reception party. We had the music pumping and the bar was stocked. They didn’t mind stopping at the store for us to get more beer and liquor. We highly recommend All Star. The cars are immaculate and the drivers are amazing (if you want the names please FM me- I have to look for my contract).

The Flower Petaler 10+++++++
We went with Meredith from the Flower Petaler because this is her own shop. She is in Huntington Village and she does unbelievable work. We did look at the Pedestals and a few other florists before we booked her but we found she is really passionate about her work. She knew exactly what we wanted the first time we met her. She is definitely worth checking out. The bouquets are big and the centerpieces are full.

The Yankee Piper 10++++
This was a last minute decision, which we were glad we went with. Tom stood out in the rain and played the heck out of the bagpipes. He is worth the money and adds that extra special touch.

Honeymoon 10+++++++++++
Honolulu- Hilton Hawaiian Village and
Maui- Marriott Ocean Club (timeshare)
Hawaii is an unbelievable place- True paradise.
We did Honolulu for 4 days and then Maui for 8. We loved Maui so much we bought a Timeshare. If you have the chance to go to Maui- GO you will love it. We didn’t do to many activities besides the Road to Hana and snorkeling in Maui and we went to Pearl Harbor in Honolulu. If you want anymore info FM.

Bridal & Tuexdo Shop in Shoreham 10+++++
I used this shop because my husbands aunt has worked here for 20 years. They are a small shop but give you personal attention. They can basically order any dress you find. Highly recommend.

Orpehus Salon in Cold Spring Harbor- 10+++++
I used Jessica for makeup and Alyssa for hair. I had a few trials at other places which were horrible. I figured i would try Orpehus out since it was literally 3 minutes from my house. Jessica has an amazing talent. I had the airbrushing and it stayed on all day and night.

Alyssa did my hair and did exactly what i wanted. She is a really nice girl and listens to what YOU want.
Highly recommend both girls.

The Tux Shop on Bell Blvd. 10+++++
This place was recommended by other friends who have used them. The tuxes were on time and if anyone had a problem they fixed them on the spot. All the guys looked amazing.
