I have to start out by saying thank you to Long Island weddings and all the girls on this site. What a pleasure it has been!

Before you get married you need to decide what kind of bride you’re going to be. You can be the hostile, snotty bride or the cool, calm, relaxed bride. Either way people will remember it, believe me. I decided i was going to be the calm bride, not to let anything bother me and expect things not to go as planned. My advice, be that bride. It was enjoyable and i remembered everything since i wasn't worrying about anything. I had so many compliments on how great I was to work with and how easy going I was about everything. I wasn’t going to let one thing ruin my day!

Now to the review........

The weather the day of the wedding was PERFECT!!! I was so lucky.

Bridal Shower- A++

I can’t say enough about this place. Great food, great people all under one roof! The shower wasn’t a surprise for me but the place was and I was so happy with the restaurant. They didn’t rush any of the guests, were very accommodating and even helped carry out all of my gifts!

Rehersal Dinner- A+

They were sooooooooo wonderful. My rehearsal time at the church was pushed up an hour and Mauricios gladly accommodated me. The dinner was wonderful, the service was impeccable and it was just a great night to remember.

This store is small but personable and if he doesnt have it, he will find it for you. Ben found the ring he wanted with no problems. He is honest and has great prices. He also polished up my E-ring for me a couple days before the wedding and made it look brand new again.

I had gotten a really awesome deal on the girls jewelry sets. It took me forever to find the perfect set and i found it right before i was about to give up and leave!

My dress seemed to take forever to come in but when it did, it was perfect. The only thing I was upset about was when I got measured for the dress. She told me I was a size bigger than I normally was and I had a feeling the dress was going to be huge on me when it came in but I went with what they told me. Well, I should have gone with my gut and told them to order me the size I wanted because I went through 4 alterations. Besides that the ladies were wonderful, the prices were un beatable and my seamstress was the delightful. I also had a chance to work with Danielle, their bridesmaid attendant, who was so nice. She gave me all her numbers and email address to contact her if I had any problems or questions with anything and I thought that was really nice.

Shoes-A+
I dont remember the name of the store, but they are right next door to Paradize Bridal. The prices were excellent and the shoes, i didnt have to take them off once all night!

Rogers Tuxedo –A+++

I went in with my husband to pick out the tuxes and the guys at Rogers were so nice and funny. They were truly wonderful to work with.

Headpiece

I LOVE my headpiece. I mean I wish I could wear it all day and sleep with it at night. I didn’t love Macys Bridal. The girls there were mean and lied about when my head piece was coming in numerous times. I think they lost the order or something!

Sir Oliver Limos A+++++++++

I loved this limo company. My bridesmaids got a limo for my Bachelorette Party from them and the limo driver Phil was so kind and funny. One of the girls got sick; he pulled over helped her out of the car, held her hair back so she can puke and got her all cleaned up. I mean never expected that from a limo driver.
Fortanetly for me I had Phil as my driver in my Rolls Royce the day of the wedding. Right before I walked down the aisle, my blusher fell off and Phil fixed it. He also fluffed me up and made sure my train was straightened out. We also had gotten a Hummer limo which was fabulous and we had such a great time in there.

The music makes the party that’s for sure and my party well…..it was some party!! First they had made a video montage of our pictures then showed our engagement video. Throughout the night the music was cranking and everyone was dancing and having a great time! We also had a “Frank Sinatra” singer who was wonderful and really set the mood for those slow songs and dinner. I really can’t thank Mike, Harry and Mike enough for everything they did for us to make our wedding so perfect and memorable!

American Legion Pipe Band A++++++++++++

The pipe band was a surprise for all of our guests and they definitely were surprised. The band played for about 20 minutes and it was wonderful.

Tony was the videographer and he was absolutely wonderful. He came early the day of the wedding and hung out with all the girls and took some wonderful shots! Throughout the whole day I didn’t even notice if he was there. He wasn’t in my face at all. The best thing was I got my video back a month after my wedding and what an amazing video it is.

I love this women. She has such a beautiful personality that would make any person comfortable in her presents. She is also very talented artist. I had used Laura for a couple different occasions prior to my wedding. I couldn’t get enough of her and her makeup! She had me addicted. I wish I could wrap her up and keep her in my house to do my make up everyday. Look at all pictures and you will see what a wonderful job she did!

When I first met with Nicole and had a consult with her, I instantly fell in love with her. When it was time for my hair trial, I was with her for about 4 hours ( I got my makeup done too) and I didn’t want to leave. I felt like I was hanging out with one of my girls.
My hair came out so unbelievable im still getting comments on my hair style till this day. I gave Nicole and idea of what I wanted and after a couple of styles we found the right one. The AM of the wedding, she was on time, professional and stayed until I was ready to go to the church. I couldn’t have asked anything more of her, she went above and beyond her duties and it was so appreciated.

Photography is so important in a wedding. You have to love your photographer because you are spending the whole day with them!
I can’t say enough about Michael. I think he is such a wonderful person and a fabulous photographer. He was the first photographer I met with and I instantly fell in love with him and his work. I think I owe him a beer or two because I speak with him all the time and he is always so pleasant.
My pictures are breathtaking. Each picture is more amazing than the other. It was so hard for me to pick the album out, that’s how good his work is.

I loved Cori. I met with her a little over a year prior to my wedding. She helped me figure out what I wanted throughout our meetings. She was so easy to work with and would respond back to me so quickly. My flowers were sooooooooo beautiful, the bridesmaid flowers were amazing and my centerpieces were breathtaking! She was a high quality florist with amazing pricing. She is very reliable and you won’t be disappointed with her work!

Giulio and he was so phenomenal to deal with through the year and a half before the wedding. Every question I had, he answered. Every problem I had, he helped solve it. He was so amazing to deal with and very accommodating to our taste and needs.
The food was excellent. The cocktail hour had so much food and every bite got more and more delightful. The dinner was perfect too!
George, my maitre d, was so great and really went out of his way. He was always asking if everything was ok and if he could do anything else for us.
The Bridal Attendant, Suili, was also amazing. She brought us everything we needed and help me with anything I needed. Both George and Suili were there to great me as I stepped out of the limo and followed me everywhere. I felt so cool like I had my own little posse!
You must go check out the Venetian Yacht Club. They have great service, amazing food and beautiful views.

Favors
I did my favors in a non traditional way.
I made a donation to the American Cancer Society. After a made a donation, the cancer society let me write up my own card and they printed it for me. I had the cards place on each dinner plate at the reception hall.

Honeymoon

We stayed in Disney for a week at the Grand Floridian and it was amazing. They treated us so well, we had lots of fun and they even gave us just married pins to wear around the park!

I didnt know if i was going to like the place after i got off the plane and into their airport because it was an eye opener. When we got to the hotel however i almost dropped dead. It was AMAZING. The service was high quality and the weather was perfect.
