Ok, here I go... I dont have professional pictures yet, this is what I have so far...

First of all the weather ... they promised all week 60% chance of rain and it did rain in the morning while I was getting ready. I was very worried because our cocktail hour was 1/2 inside 1/2 outside on the water and it would be a shame to move it all inside. But it cleared by picture taking time. My wedding
planner (DOC) lied to me the whole morning that it was not raining (she is the best). Unfortunately we could not take pictures where we wanted to on the grass because my shoes and dress would get ruined but I still was able to take pix outside. So I give weather a B+.

GIHC -- A+++++++++ We are still getting comments on how good the food was. Of course, we tasted very little. People could not believe it was 100% kosher! They even put an ice sculpture together for the caviar and vodka station which was a menorah with vodka bottles as candles -- I had no idea until after the wedding! They were very attentive in every way.

Arcadia -- A+++ Everything came out as requested, the most impressive was the bridesmaids BK, they were pick orchids and they turned out to match my dresses perfectly! My honey picked them out and he was completely on the money!

Empyreal Strings -- A -- FM for details. They did an amazing job the day of, played everything I requested and the guests did not sit down the whole time! Thank you!!!!

MY DOC -- amazing, love her dearly, she did some of my friends' weddings, but I never thought we would need visine the day of and she had it -- this is just the amount of detail she took care of. FM for name and other details. She found for us our venue, photo and video, hair and makeup and did DOC. A+++++++++++++++

Barnaby Draper Studios -- A+ -- Barnaby is amazing to work with, our engagement pix were perfect, and he brought photobooth to the wedding which was a hit!!! I will know more when we start working with him on pictures and video, but his entire team is great!!!

Kleinfelds Bridal -- A+ my dress was a Christos A line strapless gown and I worked with Mariella who was great! She even dealt with my indecision on the shoes at my second fitting, so she did not hem the dress till a week before the wedding (gave me chills) but it worked out perfectly! I got so many comments on the dress!!!

Shoes -- A- 1st pair Stuart Weitzman Applause, gorgeous shoe, perfect heel, but I was afraid after the long day they will hurt. They did hurt after a bit 40 min ceremony and pix, but as soon as I started dancing, never felt them again! I bought a back up pair I didnt even wear (aldos)! I will definitely dye them (black as they are dirty now and wear them again).

Shawl -- Ann Taylor celebrations, wore it for the ceremony (ivory bridal shawl)

Jewelry -- Elliott Dinori from Macys earrings and bracelet.

Tiara -- Bridal Bldg -- big money saver!!!

Here comes the bridesmaids -- bridesmaids dresses. B+ but could be the designer's issue. I had Dessy No 2038 dresses in Bordeaux and some came much bigger than measured so a lot of alterations were needed. But, for jr BM, since dessy does not make such dresses, I picked a WAWA dress 42216 in wine with cherry ribbon, and it matched perfectly to the dessy dress color! Seemed like it was the same designer.

Veil -- something borrowed -- my MOH's veil, I didnt want to spend money on something I was wearing only for ceremony, so I borrowed. It was a very smart decision since her veil is gorgeous (and she will never need it again).


Tuxedos -- Eisenberg and Eisenberg in Chelsea -- FM for details. Groom and GM wore morning suits and fathers and granpa cutaways.

Transportation -- Red Oak transported the bridal party and groom, and later guests between reception and hotel.

Rehearsal dinner and hotel -- Renaissance Westchester Marriott -- A+ but my mother-in-law would know more. Very pretty hotel, and much nicer than some hotels closer to GIHC. A lot of our guests were OOT (he is originally from FLA) so we held our RD in the hotel. Very convenient.

Gifts: in addition to shawls, I bought BMs Swarovski pendants on a chain (circle), Jr BM Swarovki earrings, and mothers Swarovski bracelets.

GM -- Invicta pocket watches and pocket squares to go into the morning suits. Pocket watches looked awesome! We got one father a regular watch and one father a bracelet.

Ketubah -- A+++++++ Nava with 1800ketubah.com We got the Ahava ketubah. Nava is the artist and she was amazing to work with. We are in the process of framing this work of art.

Programs and invitations -- a friend; we put programs together when printed and I got burgundy tassels for program, cant recall from where.


and most importantly: Honeymoon -- Curacao Marriott Resort and Emerald Casino -- A++++++++++++
the most amazing island! the most welcoming people! and scuba here rocks! We got certified here and we had so much fun in the water!
