My December 3rd Wedding Reivew
Rehersal Dinner: Held at Burtucci's in Meliville. Food was good and plenty of it. The price was a steal as well. Would give them A+Hair Salon: Myself the
, MOB, and all BM's had their hair done. We went to Robert James Salon & Spa located in Miller Place on Rt 25A. We opened the Salon that Friday morning. The owner had warm bagels, hot coffee & tea, along with juice and Champagne ready for us. It was a very nice gesture on their part. We had about 4-5 of their works helping us all get our hair and make-up done on time. I loved the way my hair, along with all the other girls hair came out. They even went out of their way to go purchase some extra fancy hair pins for some of the BM's to go in their hair. Make-up looked natural and not greasy. Was very happy with all the services. Would give them A++Photographer: Proline Studios, we used Danny. I just loved him and his assistant. What a nice photographer and the company too is wonderful to work with. Danny was early showing up to my house. We got a lot of nice pics done at my house and then he headed over to the church to meet up with DH and the GM. Throughout the night he was patient with us, took any and all shots we requested and managed to get all our pics done before the reception. So DH & I were able to enjoy our Reseption without having to continue with pics. Our proofs were back when we got home from the HM and they look great. I already called in for my Thank You to be printed up. We will meet with them soon to work on the album. From the service we recieved and my proofs, I would highly recommend Proline Studios to all Brides to Be. I give them an A+++ with no question....!
DJ: OH MY GOD! The best DJ & MC in the world has to be Tommy Tunes. Holy Cow, they did a awesome, awesome job.... They really stuck to the play list and played everything we had in mind. It was a totally awesome 80's theme night of dancing. Everyone was raving over the music and the energy that Tommy Tunes brings with them. We had Frankie for our MC and Vinny for the DJ. Both very very nice people and tons of fun to work with. We are so happy to have had them at our wedding and would most certainly recommend them to all. Give them A++++++
The Riviera: Here is where the road to my wedding got bumpy. I have both Pro's & Con's of using this vendor. I am just going to be honest and tell you about my experience. I found that from when we booked them, up unitl the time we had the reception, the Riviera did a real poor job on keeping in contact with me. Never did they call me to see how things were coming along for the wedding and to remind me on when deposits and planning for the wedding had to be accomplished. I had to call them each time and ask. The night of the wedding went 50/50 in my eyes. Our guest had a terrific time, enjoyed themselves, thought the food was great, and loved the decor of the place. On the Bridal Parties point of view, service SUCKED. The MatraD' was Georgio, who I saw NEVER. Because there was no Banquit manager there for the night, Georgio seemed to have to spend all his time in the kitchen making sure the wait staff was doing their job. So therefore, the service to the Bridal Party really lacked. There was only a small cocktail hr for us in the Bridal Suite and the food was there and gone. Never did they try to replenished the shaffing dishes. For our First Dance, Georgio had told me he would hand me my bussle for my dress just before we start to dance. Well he never did, DH and I ended up dancing on my train. I drove me crazy. I asked for a glass of water and I was told 'it's on your table' Let me tell you there was a drippy wet water pitcher on my table and empty clean glass. I guess I had to 'pour it myself'. At the end of the night, Georgio had put our stuff in boxes for us. Well I thought he had gotten it all, but NO he forgot a lot of things. I had asked Georgio to get my fur and he said sure, it is in the suite. Well he was taking forever so DH went to go get it. That is when DH found 1/2 of our belongings... We were like, we thought you said you packed it all up. He had no answer for us and we just threw with him. One other glitch was that the Riviera's seating chart is not what it appears to be on paper and in real life. DH's Mothers table ended up being in the back corner. There were all issues on having to re-position tables just before the Reception got started. I will be writting a letter, along with my MOH who saw how poor the service was. She had her wedding at Villa Lombardi's and knew how a Bridal Party should be treated. So for the Riviera, only a 'C'
Much to my surprise, I thought they were going to be great.Limo: ALL Star Limo; great service. The H2 Hummer was clean and was the perfect size for the BP and US. The Limo Driver Joe was great, so very helpful for me the Bride. The pick-up after the reception was on time and got us to our Hotel in a fast manor. I would give them A++
Dress: Macy's Bridal. We got my dress and the BM's dresses here. I had no trouble with them at all. The women that work there were always nice and helpful. Everyone's dress came in on time and was altered in a fast time frame. I loved my dress and it fit perfect. They did great measurements, because I had nearlly NO alterations needed, whiched helped keep the cost down. A++
HoneyMoon: The Breeze's Bahama's OH MAN, what a beautiful island. We stayed at the Breeze's which is all inclusive. Great deal and the room was awesome. It was ocean front and had a balcony. I just loved laying on the bed and having the door open with the ocean breeze blowing and the sound of waves crashing. The staff was nice, grounds were very very clean, and the water so beautiful & clear. DH already wants to go back. We would recommend any Breeze's Resort to all of you. Totaly worth every penny and it was nice, because they don't allow children. A+++
Flowers: Flower By Burton's. What can I say, just beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. You can view pics in my album. The flowers were delievered on time as well. Each Bo-k was fresh and so pretty. A+
Well there ya go, I hope I didn't forget anything. Any questions or thoughts, feel free to FM me. Please go view my Album here on LI Weddings.

You looked stunning! What a gorgeous dress! Sorry to hear about your hall though, I would have been pissed too. BUT, the guests had a good time and the food was good, so try and remember that part of it!Glad to hear about Tommy's Tunes, I'm using them also and am so excited! They are fantastic.

Your dress is beautiful - so feminine and yet sexy. Congratulations! Sorry about the imperfections of the Riviera, but you seemed to have had a terrific day.

Re: My December 3rd Wedding Reivew
Your dress is so pretty, you look beautiful!I'm sorry to hear about your hall. I guess the good thing is that all of your guests had a great time and didn't notice the mess that was going on 'behind the scenes'. But its such a shame that YOU had to deal with that on your wedding day.

I'm so sorry that your hall fell short of your expectations.
If it's any consolation, you were a beautiful bride and everything looked beautiful!
