My super late wedding review now with tons of pics that actually work!

Invitations- www.princessinvitations.com -10/10

We wanted something really simple for our invites, which is hard to find. I found this site, they have thousands of different invitations, all very beautiful. We ordered ours, and had them in our hands within 2 weeks. They even called because they saw a mistake in our proof. Easy, fast, and perfect.

Jewelry- Swarovski-10/10

I purchased my necklace and earings, as well as my bridesmaids necklaces and earings from the swarovski store at Mohegan Sun, while there for my bachelorette party. I wanted simple things that wouldn’t compete with all of the detail on my dress, it was perfect, and I can wear it with anything.

Hotel- Bath and Tennis Hotel- 5/10

For what we paid at this hotel I expected to have a beautiful room. I believe overall we had 15 rooms at the hotel. When I called to reserve a room I informed them that this would be the room that I am prepping for my wedding in, so they set me up in the “largest” room they have with the largest bathroom. The bathroom was awesome, my 5 bridesmaids, photographer with his lighting assistant, Mia, my mother, my father, my flower girl and ring bearer all fit in this bathroom at the same time with room to spare. Aside from that I was really disappointed in the room. MIL had problems with her room, as well, guests were told that the hotel did not have any double rooms, though it does, because other guests stayed in them. Just a lot of confusion, overall I would not stay there again.

Hair and Makeup- Mi a Hend ricks- 10/10

Mia is the most on time person I have ever met. I have waist length, thick, curly hair, that takes hours to do. I also had 3 bridesmaids and my mother who needed their hair and make up done, so having someone be late was not an option. Mia was scheduled to arrive at 5 am. At 4:58 am I received a phone call from her asking what hotel room we are in, and at exactly 5 am she walked through the door ready to go. She is amazing, I had a trial with her, and loved it. Three weeks before the wedding I decided I wanted to go for a totally different look, and Mia had no problem adapting to my new ideas. Everyone loved what she did for them, to make us all look gorgeous after we had only slept for 2 hours was pure genius. I had her shadow us for the day, she stayed with us doing touch ups from 5 am until 6pm. Smartest thing I could have done! There were 50 mph winds that day, that mixed with my heavy hair lead to dropped curls. She fixed my hair at least 10 times, once was in the confessional of the church! She made sure I looked good, and best of all she made sure that I was relaxed and feeling pampered. I would recommend her to anyone anytime for any event.

Bridesmaids Dresses, MOB, and Tuxedos- Fantasia Bridal- Rocky Point-10/10

I cannot say enough nice things about everyone at Fantasia Bridal. My moms dress was purchased there as a sample gown, originally $400, we bought it for $35!!!!!!!! Mom is tiny, and needed a lot of alterations, they were done quickly, and were perfect.

I have received a lot of comments about my bridesmaids dresses, they are bill levkoff. All of my girls loved them, it is so hard to find a dress that 5 chicks will all like. My moh dress is a bit different, also bill levkoff. One of the ladies at Fantasia suggested the sash color, and she was dead on. Alterations were all perfect, they all had a small bustle.

Tuxes were Ralph Lauren, I picked them before we were engaged. The guys looked awesome. They were supposed to come in on Friday, the day before the wedding, but some of our bridal party is from out of town, and would be in the area on Thursday for the rehearsal, so they arranged it so we could pick them up then.

Limos- Sir Oliver- 10/10

We had a lot of people to transport so we had the Cadillac bridal car, their 14 passenger excursion, and their 24 passenger excursion. All of the cars were half hour early. They were all spotless. I feel awful that I cannot remember any of the drivers names because they were awesome! He driver of the bridal car talked to my dad about how he used to be a cop, and really helped calm my dad down, he also had tic tacs for me for when we got to the church. My dress kinda ruled me for a while, and he helped get me and my dress into and our of the car. The 24 passenger had a female driver who was unbelievable, she fixed my dress, lined up my bridal party, and held my crying neice during the ceremony, the other two drivers opened the church doors. After pictures my shoes were a mess, the female driver took them and cleaned them. We needed to change plans after being at our first photo spot, and they had no problems going anywhere we asked, they even took the 14 passenger to mcdonalds so dhs family could eat lunch. At the end of the night the female driver returned with the 24 passenger to drive dh and I to our house, and some bp and friends home as well. She had no problem waiting over an hour for us, she packed the car, she even helped us carry things in to our house. They went so above and beyond.

Florist- Fleurafina-9/10

I really wanted to give them a 10, but I just cant, because something did go wrong. My flowers were unreal, people kept touching them to make sure they were real, because they looked so perfect. I had been to Atlantica at least 20 times during the planning process and I was floored when I walked in. Rich is a sweetheart, he gave me anything I wanted. The only issue was that 2 days before the wedding I went into his office to ask him to bring petals to toss after the ceremony. I purchased some from flyboynaturals.com, and when they arrived, they were disgusting, they were brown and yellow, and just not what was advertised. Well the petals never made it to the ceremony. So when we exited the church we had nothing thrown at us. Not a huge deal, and if something had to go wrong I am happy that this was it. My flowers really speak for themselves. When we came back from our 16 day honeymoon, the centerpieces were still alive. If I had to do it all over again, I would pick them.

DJ- Castle Entertainment day of 10/10 overall 5/10

People did not want to sit down to eat, everyone was dancing the night away. People still tell us that our wedding was the most fun wedding they have ever been to. Sadly I found out after the wedding there were things going on with the mc, and some illegal substance…and him trying to bring it into the hotel room with my bridal party.

Atlantica- 20/10

Everything I ever dreamed of….the staff really made my day perfect. Everything was incredible, the food, the glasses that seemed to never empty, the setting….if I could do it all over again, and had no budget, id still have my wedding here.
