October 3, 2008 Marina Del Rey Wedding Review

Hey girlies, so being that my wedding was about 4 months ago, I guess I can write my review now lol. There has been so much going on, that I havent even had time to pick out the photo's for my album, needless to say, I just got my Thank You's last week.......anywayssss.....here goes

Marina Del Rey- A++++++++ I could not have asked for a better place to have our wedding. The person who we booked our wedding with was in touch with me from day one. We actually had a wedding there before ours and she came over to us and greeted us as well as told us what would be different with our wedding. Who remembers that?? She did, she was great. I requested a certain wine for the bridal suite and she gave us a case of it. Anything we asked for her to do, no matter how random, she made happen. I am so anal about everything that I wanted things set up a certain way around the cake etc, i dropped off everything 2 days before, and the day of the wedding, wow everything was so amazing and perfect. The service there is amazing! The waiter who was just designated to our table had a glass of water ready for me every time i walked off the dance floor, he was so great!!! I really could not have asked for a more beautiful crew of people to have worked our wedding. They even let us take pictures on the boat. They were so accommodating, you ask, they give!

Designs By Rose-A+++++++ Rose and her mom are absolutely great! They work with whatever budget you give them, and as beautiful as you think the flowers are going to be, they are 10x's more beautiful. She did an amazing job!!! Our flowers were delivered nice and early and they dropped off the flowers at my house as well as his. She threw in extra boutonnieres (however you spell that) for the guys, because they will break off your shirt from hugging so many people. My bo-k was absolutely gorgeous and so were the girls, if I could send all my friends there I definitely would!

Satisfaction Guaranteed DJ and Jack for MC- A++++++++ Again, I could not have asked for anything more. I must have drove Jack crazy with what I wanted done, again being so anal, my DH and I wanted the 1st dance to be a shocker and mix michael jackson into our slow dance, the exact part of the song I wanted he did, even for walking into the hall. Honestly so great, they even took pictures through the night and sent us a cd of all the pics afterward. He is a sweetheart and I would definitely recommend going there.

Joe (He is the photographer that works out of the same office as Satisfaction Guaranteed)- A+++++++ we had Joe doing our favors, he set up a photo stand in the cocktail hour for all the guests to take photos for them to take home of the night. He even took pictures of us and put them on the dais before we even got inside for the party. It was so nice to look at a photo of you and your now husband right on your dais, he was so great, he also sent a cd of pics incase anyone needed any extras. He provided the frames and even put stickers on the frames that said 'Danielle and Mike October 3, 2008' It made such a nice favor and everyone raved about them.

Ariana Studios (Video and Photography)- A+++++ One less plus only because they guy that was supposed to be my photographer left the company and they never told me. The only way I found out was because I had emailed the guy and he had told me he wasnt working their anymore. Needless to say, as per the rest of the ++++++, Conrad was amazing and so was John our video guy. I told them exactly what I wanted and they did everything, even when we weren't looking. I didnt know he took half the shots until i got my photos back. I wanted to be done with pictures before cocktail hour started and they followed exactly what I has asked. We also had 2 other people, another photo and camera guy but i don't remember their names, they were ok too, but conrad and john definitely were awesome, we even made them stay later we loved them so much. Jeff, the main guy at the studio, has worked with me in everything and anything, no matter how crazy my requests have gotten. I still have not picked my photos for my album but he will still email and call me when i have questions. they are honestly great!


Davids Bridal-F I HATE THEM!!! Im actually sorry I found my dress their and the girls dresses! I ordered the dresses in August of 2007 and the girls did not get their correct dresses and sizes until September of 2008!!!! they are so inconvenient there and so nasty, stay away from them if you can!

Mens Warehouse-F Seriously they are together with davids bridal, they both stink!, my DH and his father had to go back their twice because they wrong size tux came in TWICE!!!! ***!!! They also gave one of the groomsmen the wrong shirt and another one had the totally wrong size jacket and had to overnight one from TEXAS, hello whats the point of measuring them before hand? Stay far away!!

Camelot Limos- A+++++++ Awesome once again, we had gotten the party bus to take us to the hall and it was pretty tight, so we asked them to come back with a bigger one and 2 vans to take people home and they had no problem with it! Very accomodating absolutely love them!!!

Ok girls I dont know what else I am missing but let me know and ill review it too lol


Duh how about makeup and hair!!

Dawn at Explosions- A++++++ Absolutely great, she did exactly what i had pictured and she is so quick and precise its insane.

JoAnne(Also from Explosions)-A++++++She came to my house and did everyones make up...even the little girls so they didnt feel left out....she was great and a great vibe too, she was so excited watching all the pictuers unfold and she even helped my mom with some last minute stuff. Her makeup is absolutely amazing!!!

was it too squished with 28? im gonna have 22 adults and 2 kids.
