Our 3/18/05 Wedding ...Westbury Manor updated with pics

To start off I want to thank everyone on LIW for all the great ideas and all the help you girls have given me throughout the planning of our wedding.


Day of Coordinator...Angela Cooper from Affiance Events A+ I truly could not have gotten through the day without her. She was always there when I needed her. She fixed problems that I didn't even know were happening.Since the first time we spoke it was like talking to your best friend.She wound up being my favorite vendor and I am actually upset that we won't be talking on a weekly basis anymore.She is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mother Nature....A+ theday had called for snow...but it was sunny and warm and we even got to do outside pictures which I didn't think we were going to be able to do.

Hair..Jenn aka The Hair Genie....A+
All I can say is W
OW she was great....Not only did she do wonderful work on me and all my bridesmaids and flowergirl...she actuallly helped me get dressed and lace up my corset back dress...she is a sweetheart who can do amazing work.

Make Up...Jacqueline Nicole...A+ when I saw how she did one of my bridesmaids makeup I almost fell over she did such a great job on all of us ...she even did my daughters makeup too which came out perfect..She is so sweet and does really great work.

Barrons...Tiara and Veil...A+ I saw a tiara I loved but it had pearls on it and I wanted rhinestones...so they took the pearls off and changed it for me and it was absolutely beautiful..same with my veil ...it came out beautiful

Burton's Bridal...A+ I had found my dress at another bridal shop for $350 more but Burton's beat their price...they were always so friendly and funny ...a great place to get your dress...also same with my flowergirl dress. I ahd found the one I wanted at TWC but they were nasty there so I calle Carole from Burtons and she ordered it for me(cheaper too)


Photo/Video...Duet A+ They were awesome....I mean WOW so incredibly great...We had 8 kids in the bridal party so you can imagine how difficult they were to get smiling all at the same time but they never got upset or nasty and just were so great to work with and I cant wait to see pics

Florist...Flowers by Peter Kenney...A+ the flowers were stunning really...flowers were right on time and more beautiful than I imagined they would be



Limos...Royalty...B I am not sure what the problem DH had but we got a complimentry ride from Westbury Manor to the Inn at Fox Hollow at the end of reception and DH told the driver to be there at 1:30 but he wasn't there so we called and told them we would get another ride DH was annoyed but I was in too good of a mood to care
He also said that the tv's in the limo didnt work and the kids were disappointed

Tuxedoes...S&S Formal.....A+ they were so helpful and great to work with and the prices were great also

Favors and birdcage rental ...Wrap With Us A+ this place is amazing...the prices are unbelievable and they are located right near me so it was very conveinient


Church/Priest...St Paul the Apostle..Father Clerkin A++ well Father Clerkin is completely wonderful...he is funny and just a great person and he made us so comfortable(we have 2 kids and some churches look down on us) but not Father Bob he is very supportive and he made the ceremony so wonderful and the church was absolutely beautiful

Westbury Manor.....A+++++++++++++++ From the time we got there Jay our Maitre D was right there for us he was awesome and so was Inez my bridal attendant
The food ws amazing and the room looked gorgeous...It was more than I dreamed it would be it was just a wonderful time and I am so glad we chose to have our reception there.

Wedding Night...The Inn at Fox Hollow A+ we were so tired when we got to the hotel but we still had the champagne and they had chocolates and rose petals and also the bed was the most comfortable bed in the world

Congrats on your wedding!! Sounds like you had a great day...and what a beautiful day it was...I was thinking on Friday...Wow anyone getting married today really had a beautiful day

Too bad about the DJ situation...some people just do whatever they want and have their own agenda....are they giving you any refund???

I do want to say that after he saw this post he did apologize for all those thinmgs that he forgot but he said the cocktail hour room wasnt his fault ...he said the Matre d told him they would play a cd....so he said he would give me a refund so we will see.
