I said my words on the 2010 boards but the fact that the boards even exist is amazing. Ron Kim and Liz area great group of people and im sure they will never know how grateful we all are to have this forum

not much to say since they are typical but what we wanted.
Bridal Shower – Shandon Court in Islip? A+
the food was great, we had a private room and everyone loved it. Such a cute place that not many people know about

Invites – The American Wedding C
we found invites we loved and only they carried them so it was a done deal. The price was right and everything seemed fine. They shipped fairly fast too…. Well, they forgot my envelopes and spelled FH name wrong… he is the third III and they typed iii (even though I typed it correctly) Not cute. They had a hard time admitting their mistake and then told me they could not overnight them ( I was late in ordering in first place) since they don’t have it (go to ups and pay for it!) well the corrected and fixed, and sent envelopes, but it took about 10 days longer then it needed to and added too much stress

Best Western Massapequa B
got ready here…and they made me book two nights since I needed it between check out and in… real annoying. And their service wasn’t that great, but hey, a room in a room.

Make-up…Jaqueline Nicole A+
she did me, my mom, and some of bridal party, and adjusted to their age and desires. Everyone looked amazing and she was so friendly the entire time. Would book her again in a heartbeat.

Hair - outside vendors A
did want we all wanted… hair bunched through day, but im sure that what happens

Wedding Dress - Private Label by G A+
Loved it, which was scary since I ordered it without ever seeing in person. It was getting discontinued, and I had to act or find something new…. I took the chance and am so glad I did.

Bridal salon – Paradise B
I didn’t do much here… I found the dress in a magazine and they had the best price so I ordered through them… the seamstress Rosa did great work, just had to be firm in what I wanted. I don’t care how she thought it looked or felt, I knew what I wanted. They are also much less attentive after you pay them. I waited LONG never got helped in my dress etc, but All worked out fine.
MOB dept…. not so much….lady left in the middle of helping my mom… to get food, and never said a word. Needless to say we bought her a dress somewhere else

Wedding party dresses and tuxes– The Wedding Center A
now I KNOW how this store is, and I knew it going in so that’s why they got an okay rating. I pulled my own dresses, and never needed their help. They have a huge selection and had lowest price. Came in quickly and alterations went just as planned. If you want service with a smile, don’t go here, but otherwise they were great

RD invites A+ made by a talented friend... FM me for details, so cheap so easy and so amazine

Flowers Lovin Oven in Sayville A-
in the end everything was perfect. I cannot tell you how much loved my flowers but it took us a long time to get there. At first planning, this was the only I cared about and it came out EXACTLY how I had pictured

Camelot- Over all, B to a B+… please see breakdown.
The limo itself was great and the driver Steve was very friendly. He gets an A
Shuttles had a mishap and did not go according to plan. They get a C
Correction of the issue- There was no way to fix what occurred but their ability to communicate with me after and to ensure that I felt comfortable was great. This gets a B+
Overall, would I book them again, yes.

DJ Top Hat Entertainment A+
definitely the perfect dj for us. We saw bob at a wedding we attending and got his card… from there we met with him and felt like we were long time friends. Worked with the songs we wanted played and we loved every second of it. We got so many compliments on him. They are not as popular as some of the vendors on here but PLEASE at least meet with him

Church St Pauls Amityville (how do you rate a church?) A+…
not sure how it could be anything less haha. The ceremony was nice, not too long or dry, at least in my opinion. The pastor had everyone laughing, although unintended. Everyone says it was beautiful

Reception Hall Flowerfield- A-
my only “issue” was during the power outage. Yep… a blackout. it took them 20 min to approach me.. I feel like should have been spoken to right away. BUT it was not their fault and they continue to word and serve my guest without hesitation. The food was fantastic. Everyone raved about it. I didn’t eat much, your never hungry enough or the dress it too tight hahah but it was great! The bathrooms were clean, the bar and wait staff were very attentive and the place is absolutely breathtaking. People told me it was hands down best wedding they’ve been to, blackout and all… (it did make for a romantic setting)

iPhone – A+
in the power outage, it was placed on the dance floor and I danced around it… no one else could hear it so we looked like fools but we had fun

Islandia Marriot A
this is where guests and we stayed after the wedding. The rooms were fine, nothing special, but the price was great. The bar stayed open for us until 2. at 4 we were asked to move, NOT leave (we apparently caused noise complaints as we were under some rooms) but they showed us an area we could hang out in no issue AND he carried our case of beer. Guy even offered to drive to 7-11 for us since we were hungry and unable to drive. Communications beforehand were slightly lacking, but everything was fine so no complaints here!

Cake – Audryes in sayvlle A+
it was exactly what we wanted color and design and it tasted fantastic. I bake so I am very picky… but this was superb. I am actually contemplating ordering a cake from there just for the he*l of it to eat it again.

Photography – Patken A
Jarred took our photos and was very easy to understand. He could sense I was getting tired of all the pics (we have a huge family and huge bp) so he tried to move things along without missing a shot. Anytime I wanted him to take a photo during the wedding he was right there ready and willing. I hope the pics come out as now as I feel they can!
Video – Patken A
We had Tom. To be honest, I didn’t really notice him much, which is EXACTLY what I wanted. I did have to ask him to not film people eating during the CH, I mean who likes that hahah, but otherwise he was behind the scenes and non intrusive. I hope he captured the joy everyone had that night

FH A++++++++++++++ I have never seen him dance and he was on the dance floor the whole night. He is what the night was all about and I love him more then words can describe

sorry about your invites..I ordered from there and it was Ok for me but poop happens...

the power outage will be talked about for years to come so not so bad lol
