LIW (A++++++++++++++)I just want to thank LIW for everything. They truly have created a site that is so helpful during the most exciting and stressful part of my life.
Here is my review I hope you all enjoy! I hope that my review helps you in making your decisions! I will try to include lots of pictures because we all know that’s what everyone loves!

To start from the beginning
Save the Dates-MagnetQueen.Com-(A+) I ordered my Save the dates from Magnet Queen.com. If you order them and select the later shipping (28 days later) you get half off. I couldn’t believe it, they came like 20 days later. They were awesome too. It was such a pleasure to walk into someone’s house and see it on their fridge, it always made me smile.



Vistaprint (A+)I also ordered post cards from Vistaprint.com to go along w/ the save the date, just as a double reminder to Save the date. Vistaprint was great, they have so many deals and can get stuff for nearly nothing. They were shipped withing 3 days.

Engagement Pictures (B) Dana Lee Jones- With the proofs we got we were very happy with. There were some that we were waiting for to see, and never got a copy of, and that was a big bummer for us. We took pictures in NYC central park, a spot for empire state building and some in the subway, and walking the streets.


Davids Bridal (A+)The bridesmaids dresses were ordered from Davids Bridal, the color was Pool. I could not have been happier with them. Most of the girls ordered there dresses and within a month they were in, we had no problems with them.
The flowergirl dress was also from Davids Bridal, along with her headpiece. She just looked adorable. She did such a great job and was the cutest flowergirl!

Men’s Warehouse- (C) We had a lot or problems with the guys tuxes, but they looked awesome so that is all I really care about. The measurements were taken wrong on a lot of the guys so all there tuxes didn’t fit, and needed to be reordered. But they all got them in time and I was very pleased with the way they looked.

The Dress-, the veil and the head piece (A)- Demetrios from Macy’s (Lake Grove) I fell in love with my dress the moment I tried it on! They were soo helpful at Demetrio’s. The only problem I had was my veil took a long for it to come in. It literally came in 3 days before the wedding, but I had it and couldn’t have been happier.

Invitations (A++++) Above and Beyond Events LI- Ryan is SUCH a sweetheart. I was lucky enough to be organzing the 2009 Bridal Shower, and was on the ABE website and came across a contest for create your dream invitations. I decided I would give it a shot and enter. Little did I know I got an FM from a fellow bride saying hey I think you won..and sure enough I checked my email and the site and I did.! I couldn’t believe it I had neeeever won anything in my life. My mom and I met with Ryan and we sat down and I threw at her all my ideas. She came back with the MOSt amazing invitations! They were breath taking. Friends and family called and wrote on the response card “the most beautiful invitation I have ever seen” and it made me sooo good that they thought that. I just wanted them to be perfect, and they were.

Hall- Flowerfield (A+++++++++++++++++++++++++) We fell in LOVE with Flowerfield the moment we drove up the driveway. Never in a million years did we think we would be able to afford a summer evening at Flowerfield. Little did we know we were fully capable. We couldn’t have been more impressed. The cocktail hour was absolutely amazing. People cannot stop raving about how great the service and the food was. They went above and beyond what we expected. Their staff was just phenomenal! They treated each guest like royality and it truly shows that they love what they do. The bridal attendant and my maitre D was at my side as soon as I turned around to look for them, they were right there. Anything I asked they did, they made sure my drinks were always full and I had everything I needed. The place was just beautiful. Its was the best day of my entire life, and I have them to thank for that.

Entertainment (A+) Steel Impressions – We had steel drums for our cocktail hour. It truly set the mood. While tropical drinks were passed around the room they played the music you would hear in the caribean .creating the perfect atmosphere for a great party.



Limo’s –Serenity Limo’s (A+) I was so impressed with the service I got when I went and looked at the limos, that I instantly booked with them. We got a 20 passenger escalade, and it arrived on time, it was clean and the driver was super friendly. We had unlimited bottles of champagne flowing and the music pumping and the lights changing, it was such a good time, on the way to the hall. I almost wanted him to do a detour just so we could have some more time in the limo. I don’t have many pictures ?

ha my FH at the time was drinking the champagne right out of the bottle!


Tommy Tunes (A+++++) We had Fred as our MC. I am SOOOO thankful to him he did SUCH a great time. He kept the guests dancing and just knew exactly how to make the night perfect. He played anything that myself or my husband requested that night and also helped create a birthday celebration for my Nana whose birthday got overlooked during the crazy last minute wedding details the week of the wedding. I was SOOO happy with Tommy Tunes, they did SUCH a great job! So if you are reading this Tommy…thank you so much and tell Fred we thank him too!

Marco Photography (B) I am very disappointed with my proofs. and my album. Please FM me for more details. On a positive note... We got our proofs back 3 weeks after the wedding, and it was just the perfect time because we just started to get that itch like ‘okay what do we do now”
Our video was also done though Marco, they did AN AMAZING JOB. thank god for the video because i honestly would have had a break down if the video came out bad, but it was wonderful.

Officiant- (A+) Reverend Phil from A Circle of Gold. What an amazing job he did. From the minute we met him we knew he was the one. He made everyone laugh during the ceremony and really just made it very personable for us. It was quick and sweet and just the way we wanted it. We were so happy with our choice.

We choose to do the sand ceremony. I ordered the jars from glass art from ebay seller –Wickhamk. The two small jars each had our names engraved on it. The one in the middle had both our names, our wedding date and “this is the day I marry my best friend.” I got the sand from Michaels. I was so pleased with the way they came out.

Flowers (A)Our flowers were done by Daisy Garden in Bayport. I am not into the whole flower scene, and I couldn’t see spending tons of money on flowers that were going to die within a few days. So I resorted to a garden place, and I have to say that I think my flowers came out beautiful, and you would never know they didn’t come from a florist.

Cake- (A+++) The cake was done by Flowerfields bakery Audreys. They did such a fantastic job. I gave them a picture of something that I wanted, and they created it, and made it even better. I asked them to incorporate some pool blue trimming and they did. I was so impressed with the cake. It was vanilla cake with chocolate moose and strawberry filling. It was delicious, from what I remember when it got smashed into my face.

Hair- (A+)My hair was done by Rachel. She is trying to become and LIW vendor, and hopefully one day makes it on there. She did a beautiful job. Picture- me hugging my brother

Make up (A+)My make up was done by a friend Tina, who hopes to someday become a make up artist. I did a trial with her the week before the wedding and I was so happy with the way it came out. She also did my mothers make up.

Favors- We did a donation favor to Camp Adventure in memory of a dear family friend, who died from cancer 2 years ago. She had volunteered at the camp for children that were sick with cancer. I ordered the postcards from vista print, uploaded a picture and a some information about the camp, and how she had helped. During the night I had lots of family and friends come up to me saying what a great donation.



Menu’s- (B+)They were done by Ryan from Above and Beyond Events, along with our invitations. They were a nice touch to go along with our theme.



Special Touches:
Name Plaque(A+)www.my-sweet-Memories.com –Channa – a few 09’ers had ordered theres from her, so I figured I try it out and see how it came out. I WAS SOOOO HAPPY with the finished product. We got so many compliments on it as well, everyone was asking where we got it from. I have also noticed a lot of 09ers have now added this as a wedding extra, and I think it is so cool.

WE DO letters- got them from AC MOORE and painted w/ acrylic paint. They were a nice touch to the table. And of course you gotta have the “DO ME” at your wedding too

Place settings- DH made me a wooden tray, we filled it with sand. I ordered sand dollars from www.qualityshells.com. I wrote all the guest name on each sand dollar and on the back was there table # that they were sitting at. I am waiting on a picture from a friend that has all of them there, but for now here is one just before the reception.



Signature Drink Menu- I made myself, and got a frame from Dollar Tree, and starfish from sea creations in downtown port jeff. My signature drink was called a “Miller” tini, since our last name is Miller. This was my drink for the night. It was so good, they even made me a few frozen as well!




Table Numbers- I found black 5 x 7 frames from Dollar Tree, and we used our engagement pictures to put on each table. I used the hall’s number picture frame as well, and it sat next to it.

Signature Board- I bought a 16 x 20 frame from Michaels, and displayed it in the cocktail hour room for all the guests to sign. One of DH friend’s thought it would be funny to draw on our faces, which I wasn’t to happy about, but we have already changed the picture since then.



Memory Candle- I purchased a regular candle from Michaels, and velum paper, and printed a special saying and a picture of my DH’s uncle who passed away a few months before our wedding. I knew how much my DH wanted him to be there, so I made sure to create this special moment and let everyone know that he was there in spirit. I also printed a poem and framed it and added some sand and shells for it to go along with my theme. His family was truly touched at this special gesture, and my DH couldn’t even express words how much he appreciated that I did that for them.

Bridal Shower- Cooperage Inn (A++++++) My mom did an amazing job planning my shower, I was sooooo impressed with every detail that she thought of. I knew when my shower was, and where, but didn’t know any other details then that. I was blown away from my shower, I was truly blessed by all of my guests and I literally was glowing the entire day. My dress was from Dress Barn, and I got my hair done by the Lemon Tree in Miller Place, and I did my own make-up! The food was absolutely delicious I was super impressed.
The cake was done at Tilda’s Bakery in Rocky Point.



Thank You cards were done my vista print.

Bachlorette Party- NYC – (Part 1)-Hunkamania- I had a great time w/ my girls, we had a little drama but I look back at it now and it had made me realize who my true friends are. Hunkamania is absolutely crazy! I don’t think I will be returning anytime soon, I had my dose of almost naked men for a long time.



Bachlorette Party Part 2 (Boardy Barn) We rented a van and did a group party to the boardy barn, it was literally the best time that I have had ever at the boardy barn.



Rehearsal Dinner – Pasta Pasta in Port Jefferson. The food was sooo delcious. We had tons of little appetizers, a salad, and then a main dish. For dessert it was either cheesecake or tiramisu.



Groom’s Cake- The Sugar Chic (A+) Absolutley amazing. I couldn’t drive to the rehearsal dinner fast enough because I wanted to see the cake so bad. It was incredible. It was chocolate cake with cookies and crème filling. The top part of oscars head was a rice krispie treat. I was so excited to see my future hubby’s face, he was so impressed with it as well.




Gifts- The girls were given coach wristlets, a beach chair and towel. The guys got a cooler filled with there favorite beer on ice, and a bbq set. The flowergirl was given a flowergirl shirt and a precious moment flowergirl figure.

Night of Accommidations – Guests and the newlyweds stayed at the Holiday Inn on Vets Highway in Islip Area. The beds were super comfortable. Our suite was pretty awesome too, except for the fact when I woke up there were 3 other guests sleeping on my floor, so we must have been partying just a little too hard! Guests had Shuttle Service provided by Winston. They transported guets too the hall, as well as returning them back to the hall after the reception.

Honeymoon (A freaking + infinity) – St. Lucia Grande. We HIGHLY recommend staying at the Grande if you are traveling to sandals st. lucia. We had the best times of our lives. It was so hard to go home aftwerwards. Unlimited cold drinks all day, sun shining down, music playing, palm trees swaying, refreshing pool and ocean water, incredible food, amazing staff…ALL IN ALL it was freaking ammmazing. We did have a problem with our room and we were immediately upgraded and treated like royality. We made lots of new friends, ones that live just a few towns away and another that live in Indiana who we stay in touch with. We can’t wait to go back!
