Ok Well it has taken me a long time to finally start this but here it is!



I will try to include at much as I can, but I'm sure I'll end up leaving something out. I still can't believe it is all over! It went so fast!

Rehearsal Dinner- Irish Coffee Pub 10
Great atmosphere, the food was delicious with 3 choices for the main entree. They were very accommodating when I asked for a specific dinner for my sister who is Vegan. I simply brought them the recipe and they made it! She said it was wonderful! The service was great.

Hair- Cactus Salon in East Islip 8
Over all they did a wonderful job, but they did have a lot of trouble actually booking my hair and nail appointments along with the rest of my bridal party (which consisted of 4 girls and one fg) I was disappointed and frustrated with what seemed to be a lack of organization.

Hair day of - Lenora 10
She did a wonderful job!! I absolutely loooooved how she did my hair. I did a trial with her which was good, but the day of she seemed to just read my mind. If I wanted her to change something, she just changed it and was sooo nice about it! She also did my highlights a few weeks earlier and it came our perfect! The prices were reasonable. She spent 2 hours on my hair and for what she charged I was shocked! I only paid 50 more than one of my sisters for an hour longer and a much more elaborate up do.

Nails- (also at cactus) Tina-10
She was fabulous! She is so personable and friendly. I had trouble with my tips, my nails were just not taking to them, but she was so helpful. The day before my wedding she used a different/ stronger wrap to really hold. My nails held up all throughout my honeymoon which was amazed me. My nails looked great!!

Dress- Burrton’s 9.8
I loved Burtons. I have heard some people didn't like it, but I found the women there friendly and helpful. My dress was perfect. They did an awesome job on it and the price was great! The only thing I was bothered by was that when I brought my dress home and hung it up the train had wrinkles in it! I actually ended up buying a steamer and my mom steamed it out.

Flowers- Also Burtons 10 +
I absolutely loooooved my flowers! It was exactly what I wanted. They were all so beautiful! I was a bit uncertain as to what the cake would look like with flowers on it, but I have to say I was impressed. I couldn't stop looking at it because it looked sooo good! They were on time, reasonably priced, helpful and do fantastic work!

Make up- Marie Katz 10
Marie arrived at my house on time and was very pleasant. She did one of my BMs and my mom then me. I absolutely loved all of our make up! Since I had done a trial with her in the fall she changed a few of the colors and they were perfect. She is so friendly and easy to talk to. I highly recommend her for makeup.
I had air brushing done and it lasted the whole night. I only had to retouch my lipstick! It was perfect!

Limo- Crusie Control 9.5
Everyone at Cruise Control was very helpful and knowledgeable. Both limos arrived early. Our drivers were so friendly and easy going, they were even answering the phone for me at my house! ?
The limos were in excellent condition and the prices were reasonable.

Photographer- Proline 9.5
My husband and I had a difficult time finding a photographer that took the type of photos we wanted. After meeting with 3 different photographers we finally met Marvin.
The day of the wedding he arrived early ready to go. He had a lot of energy and we soon came to the conclusion he was a bit eccentric and he often forget everyones names!
But, Marvin did an Exceptional job of capturing our wedding. I loved his work and would use him again!

Videographer-Wedding Cinema 10 +
Pete is the owner of the company and is also our videographer. He was so professional and easy to talk to! He even called the day before to confirm which most vendors do not do! He walked us through everything he was going to do and the day of the wedding he arrived early to greet my husband at the church. Pete had a very calming quality about him, which helped balance out our eccentric photographer. We are currently awaiting our video, which would have been done by now if my husband and I had sent Pete our pictures and songs earlier. I highly recommend using Wedding Cinema as your videographer.

Reception Hall – Westbury Manor 9
Our reception at Westbury Manor was fantastic. We really think it is one of the most beautiful reception locations on Long Island (that don’t include a castle). The grounds look great and we are still receiving compliments about the hall and grounds. The food was excellent and the array of choices was very impressive. Our reception was in the Garden Room. Due to the possibility of rain our cocktail hour was held in the library and adjoining greenhouse-like room. Throughout the night everything ran smoothly and we don’t have many complaints. Our bridal attendants did seem inattentive at times, and more concerned with the bridal party then us. And we did have an issue where a staff member was extremely rude to a member of our bridal party. It was addressed and they apologized, but we still feel that this unfortunately ruined that person’s night. Hopefully that person no longer works there!

DJ – Vinny from High Voltage – 10
My husband and I hired Vinny after meeting him once. There was no need to look any further he was it. Vinny, is very easy to talk to and down to earth. He doesn't try to sell you anything, which is refreshing.
Vinny not only helped us choose music but gave us tips on many other aspects of the wedding that we hadnt thought of. He is so friendly that we spent hours just talking to him.
On the night of my wedding he did a fantastic job. He had people on the dance floor the whole night and it all ran smoothly. He did a fantastic job and had very resonable prices. I highly recommend Vinny!

Everything looked like it turned out perfect!!! I have to say how much I loved your dress It is so stunning! Which necklace did you end up wearing???

I am so sorry that one of your BP was not treated right by the staff at WM but I am sure they have been repremanded (sp)

I ended up borrowing jewlrey from my cousin. It was BEAUTIFUL. Diamond tennis bracelet, past present future necklace and square diamond earrings. They were perfect with the dress. Have you picked your jewlery yet?

Marvin from Pro line is a charcter- he took our engagament pics- they came out great- but he was a little annoying to work with that day

We just picked up our video from Pete (Wedding Cinema) and we LOVE it!!!!! Pete did a fantastic job!!! It is perfect! I've seen some that had a lot of cartoon images in it and some that were more like mtv music videos and neither were my taste. The video flows, has plenty of us and others dancing, we even have bloopers at the end. It is perfect!
Hiring a videographer was one of the best decisions we made. I got to see my niece and nephew walk down the aisle, and all the things we missed. No matter how much you try to pay attention to everything going on you always miss something.
If you are using Wedding Cinema you will not be disappointed!!
