My May 9, 2008 Wedding - VYC, Duet, Pedastals, Royalty

I wanted to post a review because I found them to be so helpful when I was planning my wedding. Thank you all for the responses I've posted on this board and the help. It's a great board!

On to my review:

Unfortunately it POURED on my wedding day, but that wasn't the worst of it. Coming from NYC going to Babylon on Friday, we hit traffic. In fact, we were in the limos for 3 1/2 hours! I was fuming. We were about an hour and a half late for my mass at the church. Nightmare. Luckily the priest inprovised and we had a quick ceremony and everything worked out after that.

VYC: They did an amazing job. Daisy was my BM and she was great. She was with me to the very end and made sure everything was taken care of. Everyone loved the food and the place. Things ran smoothly.

Duet: They were at my house early and stayed to the very end. They were all over taking pictures. I used them for video too. I haven't seen the proofs yet, but they tried to get in every shot.

Pedastals: Again, they came early. All of my vendors were great. No complaints whatsoever. The flowers were beautiful. I worked with Robert and he was wonderful.

Royalty: Another vendor who showed up early. Limos were clean and the drivers were great.

Faze 4 - Play by Play: This was such a great band. Really added to my wedding. Everyone was up on the dance floor and bragged about the music.

Capriccio Ensemble: I used them for my cocktail hour. Although I didn't get to go to my cocktail hour, everyone really enjoyed them.

Hair/make-up (Sackiko and Reiko): They did the makeup and hair for me and all my girls.They did a wonderful job.

Cake (Audrey's): I had a beautiful cake, cookies and cream. It tasted great too.

Bridesmaid Dresses (Adriennes): They weren't great to deal with. I went to the one in the City and got plenty of attitude. They even forgot to alter my BM dresses at one point and the pins were still in the dress. Completely unprofessional.

My dress (Wedding Altier): Great! I loved my dress, loved the store.

I had a great time at my wedding. I spent time with my husband, we went to each table, we even ate! It's worth all the stress and planning because it's a memory you will never forget. All my vendors I highly recommend. I had no problems with them, they were reliable, provided great service, and I had no worries...hope this helps.

Hi date twin!! Congrats on your beautiful wedding! The weather was so bad that day, a lot of my guests didn't make my ceremony bc of the rain/traffic! Glad everything else worked out!

PS I used Royalty too, they were great!
