yes, alicia, i definitely DID try to talk to the vendor MANY MANY MANY TIMES - got no call back though...

but, my day was fabulous. i married my best friend!!!

Congratulations. Thanks for the detailed and honest review. I always looked for them when I was planning and I remember how helpful they were. Have a wonderful and happy marriage. Post pics when you have them. We love pictures even more than reviews.

When i started using this web site i thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. My world of weddings became so much easier. But then if you really pay attention you start to see that amazingly the venders that are sponsered by this site ONLY get Rave reviews. In my heart i know nothing is perfect so there has to be people who obviously didn't have the best experiences. But amazingly, pretty much none of LIW venders had negative comments.
But it all came to a head when i saw the comments made by 'certain' sad ladies who felt they had to resort to nasty comments to defend their beloved vender. I know LIW had to have read those pathetic posts. Were they given a warning... that this behavior is inappropriate and totally unacceptable???? This web site is supposed to be a place that we can give tasteful yet honest opinions of our experiences with venders. Now i feel i better watch out what i say or a buch of banchees will come after me to tell me off about an experience that I HAD...not them.. ME.

And by the way, the vender that was so reveered i was interested in but after reading the worshipers comments i decided to take my business elsewhere. A vender should realize that they will never be able to please everybody and if a bad review pops up well that's life. But i know that the vender that i speak of...talks to at least one of these ladies. If i were him i would have a little chat with her because she made him lose business today!!!

(I missed most of what went on on this thread, but I've seen it before. I learned a long time ago that certain people are crazy defensive about their vendors - even to the point of 'telling' on me when I posted something negative. Its totally ridiculous!)

All I can say is Congratulations on a wonderful day, as you said 'you married your best friend' and that's the most important thing. I am sorry you weren't happy with all your vendors, but at least you didn't turn a blind eye and you gave an honest review. Although I am using one of your vendors, I still appreciate the honesty and at this point can only hope for the best. Good luck and I can't wait for the pics!!!

Congratulations!!! I can't wait to see pictures. Sorry about your florist but it sounds like you had a great time : ).

And to those knocking you for your honest review....everyone has different visions and opinions of what they expect for their wedding. If we all liked the same thing there would only be one vendor.

Hey Minnie, congrats on your day and I am glad that you posted an honest review!!! It certainly helps all of us future brides that are using those vendors to be more aware of certain behavior we may encounter from those vendors.

I know all the trouble you had with Jack long before your wedding and I'm sorry to hear that he failed you.

But what I am truly disgusted with is how some of the ladies could say some things... I read this review before it was edited and all I can say is that it is just plain horrible that any ladies would attack minnie b.c her review of a vendor wasn't a positive one.. She never said anything bad about this vendor, only the truth.

I understand if you are using this vendor or have used this vendor, but that doesn't mean that the vendor can't have a bad review.

She gave a mediocre review of Ric Mango, did I bash her? esp on her review?

and obviously this vendor is unprofessional and juvenile or he wouldn't have exploited his business doings that he had with minnie and shared them with other brides..


COngrat Minnie, I'm sorry for having posted this on your WEDDING review knowing that you should be ecstatic with the fact that you are a wife and not dealing with this crap!
