ok hmmmm so where do I begin???



CHATEAU LA MER A++++++++++++++++++
right from the start I had a good feeling about this place...the first time we went to see it I felt extremely comfortable & at ease...it was the first place we looked at & we never went any where else...which surprisingly is not like me..I am a BIG researcher ...
We went to a food tasting a week after seeing the place & fell more in love..the food was amazing & plentiful & the staff REALLY got us hooked!!!everyone was very nice, attentive & you really feel at home there.

wedding day at clm:
words can't even describe how INCREDIBLE the day was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did not worry about ANYTHING what so ever! from the moment the girls & I arrived in the limo until the last moment of the night
they greeted us when we arrived & immediately got us drinks, helped us & set us up in the bridal suite with food & got us ready to enjoy!
we went a bit early to take photos by the water..they showed us everything & reminded me to enjoy & it would all be taken care of & it CERTAINLY was!!!
any last minute thoughts that poppped in my head-for example about the ceremony(since we didnt have a rehersal) were answered & I never thought of it again.
My bridal attendant was wonderful...so helpful and attentive without being intrusive
she was by my side all day --incredible job ...at the end of the night she packed up all of my things and even gave us food & cookies from the reception with a sweet congrats note attached!!!

Our maitr'ed was amazing as well!! he was completely on top of everything & so sweet as well! any ques I had he immediately answered & helped me with...
*OUR BOAT RIDE ENTRANCE/COCKTAIL HOUR:
We were concerned because the week before our wedding was that lovely heatwave...but thankfully our weather was PERFECT that day !!
we had our outdoor ceremony & boat entrance :)
the guests could not get over the amount of delicious food at the cocktail hour & people loved our boat arrival!!
on the boat thet had champagne & strawberries for us too!!

I CAN GO ON & ON FOR HOURS ABOUT HOW INCREDIBLE CLM IS....so I can move on-
I'll just say this...it is an extremely organized & tight run ship there..they are so experienced and they do an amazing job in every aspect!
they make you & your friends & family feel so at ease & almost like they are family too...
they are funny, sweet & treat your wedding as if its their first with their enthusiam & excitement!!!
ANYONE CONSIDERING CLM GO FOR IT!!!
YOU WILL HAVE THE DAY OF YOUR DREAMS!!!

DJ UNLIMIITED ENTERTAINMENT:A++++++++++++++++++++
when it comes to a dj we were really picky because we are not at all into eccentric stuff...we just wanted guys with great personalities & good music...no electric slide, smoke effects etc..
EDDIE & his partner were amazing! they got the crowd going & were so much fun to have there :) Dealing with them in the planing stages was great too..we had a big list of songs to play & a bit of a confusing ceremony/reception since there were a lot of groomsmen vs. bridesmaids so entrances got a bit tricky in the planning..but Eddie was awesome! he helped me figure it all out smoothly & always got back to me right away if I had any ques! we also choose unique sountrack music for the ceremony & he helped us figure out that as well!!
at the end of the night he gave us 2 cds he made of songs from our list & a cd with a cover of all the important songs played at the wedding reception!!
great guys!! very professional & down to earth :)

FLORAL PRESTIGE-BY FLORAL ETC A++++++++++++++++++++++++
Flowers are extremely important to me so choosing a florist was a big concern of mine..
I found Jola on LIW and emailed her a few times telling her what I was looking for & sent her some ideas I had. Jola always got back to me right away & was so kind & sweet from the start! The day I went to her shop to meet with her..she blew me away!! we walked in and on a table is a set up of the ideas I had told her about!!!!! I couldn't believe me eyes-so gorgeous!! then we sat & spoke and tossed around some other possibilities & options..she listened & added her ideas too! then she brought out a bridal bouquet she made of the flowers I mentioned I would like to use!!! they were incredible :)
from that night on I knew she was going to be my choice! She is such a caring & truly involved person. You can see in her eyes how much a wedding means to her & how she wants it to look perfect for you!!!
Anytime I would call her/email her she responded quickly & I felt like I had known her for years
she also always said to call her if I needed to talk & had any ques!! she is a calming soul!!!!

A few changes were being made & she would do set ups in her shop & email me pics for my approval bc to drive out there is far for me!!! Before the wedding during the planning Jola went out of her way to make things right & make us happy...
BUT on the wedding day I WAS FLOORED!!! my bouquet was better than I could have imagined & the gazebo looked like it was out of a magazine!!! the girls bo-ks and guys bouts even more beautiiful then I expected!!!
Jola put her own personal touch on it all & it was AMAZING! she was there day of to over see & set up which is VERY IMPORTANT & she also helped & took care of some other non-floral table arrangements for me too!! she is an incredible person who cares very much!
I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND HER*** please any ques FM me!!!

legend limos A+++++
we just had a pickup/drop off for the bms & I
we expected a simple white limo & got a gorgeous escalade!! our driver was great, timely & waited as we took limos shots!!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND

DUET PHOTOGRAPHY DAY OF A+ (PICS NOT YET...)
We did not get our proofs yet so I can comment on day of & planning...Duet was very good at responding to questions & emails through the planning..I also sent them some pics I wanted to be taken & they did so day of...
both photographers were friendly, timely and great to work with! we had Woo's team. they were all over the place yet not intrusive at all!! I will update with photos & more comments after we receive proofs
WE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!


MARRIOT IN MELVILLE A++++++++++++++
This hotel was absolutely gorgeous!!! beautiful atrium lounge & bar great pool & rooms too
we blocked rooms the sat night before and night of the wedding. we wanted our friends & family to spend time together the night before & have some laughs, dinner, drinks & see people who we haven't...we had a great dinner at the restaurnat there & all hung out by the bar afterwards.
then we all went into the bridal suite to hang out for the night!!
Illene helped me book everything & took care of all the details! she was wonderful! always in contact with me & helped with procing details too!!
A GREAT HOTEL*** HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANY QUES FM ME!!

OFFICIANT--PASTOR BILL A++++++++++++++++++++++
As soon as we met Pastor Bill we felt at ease & very comfortable with him. He has a great personality & wonderful ideas. He is not pushy at all & extremely easy to talk to. During planning getting into contact with him was good & he always responded promptly & helped put me at ease with any concerns I had from the start. On the day of he did an amazing job & our friends & family could not stop talking about him!!! he does a few unique things that are very memorable & he truly made our ceremony & vows incredible :)
I highly reccomend him!! I won't tell his surprise in case...you use him I don't want to ruin that for you Any ques. please fm me!!!

TUXEDOS-AFTER HOURS STATEN ISLAND
MALL --B
We had some issues with them from the start...they ordered the wrong pink ties and claimed that was wat they showed me..which were way off in color, design & style
they also even sent some pink & some black which was a mistake in itself
the workers were nice & tried to help but their policies arent great
then they proceeded to charge us to switch the ties --which really were their error!
we paid since we needed them & it was 3 days before the wedding..but I am still in contact to get out money refunded...I'll get back with that info
otherwise the tuxes were really nice black tommy hilifiger & they generally fit the guys well...


GORGEOUS FACES --JILLIAN, SARAH & BRIDGETT ROCK A+++++++++++++++== I had a trial with the girls and fell in love immediately I am really picky with makeup & I only use mineral makeup on myself (bareminerals) I do not like the feel of liquid or other makeup...I like a natural look & Jillian does an amazing job!!! we did a bit more eye contouring day of & I absolutely loved it!!! she is a total sweetheart & the girls & I were extrmemly pleased with our makeup--HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR SURE!!!

Sarah/Bridgett Rock did my hair, my mom & all the girls...they were outstading! my mom & I loved them at the trial but opted to do a few changes day of--they are both so sweet & really listen to what you say

all the girls brought hair pics and they did their hair so beautfiul & with the flower they all looked so tropical!!! and gorgeous & also very natural which was important to them ..not stiff & uncomfortable.

*MY HAIR & MAKEUP STAYED PERFECT ALL NIGHT!!!! I WAS AMAZED

then one day I walked into a bridal shop with soem of the girls & it was just hanging there---EXACTLY what I had been looking for & couldnt find anywhere!!

the dress is made by Raylia & it comes in TONS & TONS of colors! so gorgeous & def wearable again!!!

I loved this dress but thought it might be too light for November. Perfect for summer though!!!!!
