....I still kinda “wanted out” and when we got to the church I was shaking like a leaf, and had to hold myself back from RUNNING down the aisle to DH. The second I peeked in the church doors and saw him, standing there, shuffling from foot to foot waiting for me…….. I started to cry, This time out of complete relief and happiness. I cried my heart out, all tears of complete happiness and relief walking down the aisle almost pulling my Dad to get to him. I could cry again now writing this…… the second I reached the alter and took DH’s hand I felt like FINALLY I had found what I needed and wanted and was complete. IT’s the most surreal moment and I will never forget that second because its in my heart forever. It’s an amazing feeling to walk an aisle to get to the one you love as much as life itself and think, this is it, We are together now..FOREVER…


Aww Donna, this just made me choke up! So touching!!!

First of all, just an amazing review and so many great words of wisdom for future brides

But mainly, I'm so happy to read that all your hard work and planning paid off and that you had such a perfect wedding day.... it absolutely shows in all your pictures how happy you were and how beautiful everything turned out.. (Especially the bride.. you were just gorgeous!) You are truly the picture of a happy, glowing bride!

I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness with your husband (aka DH.. ) and all my best wishes for the years to come!! You deserve it!!

I am getting married at the Watermill on july 8th 2006! I cant wait!
Here are a few questions:
1. Was there any food that you highly reccommend as a choice?
2. Did you get to enjoy any of your coctail hour due to pictures?
3. What kids of things did you visit the Watermill for b4 the wedding? I am just wondering what I need to do first?
4. Do I need to work closely iwth the wedding planner from the watermill? Or does it depend if i use their vendors or not?
5. How much was the shuttles to the marriot?

I had no complaints about ANY of the food..I will ask and see if anyone ( guest..they ate more then me!) liked anything in particular.

THE cocktail hour depends on your photgrapher and timing. We got to the Watermill early and we kept the pictures moving at a fast pace, so we got to the coktail hour about 15-20 minutes after it started, so we had time.
we went to the watermill before hand to take some pictures, to help with things like the CP's and stuff, and to choose the menu, and then to do the final arrangements a few days before the wedding.
We didnt use Samanatha the planner at all, she mostly helps with favors, invites, that sort of thing and we had it all covered already, but shes soooo sweet and if you need help with things like that, she great!
And we didnt have a shuttle...the Marriott's shuttle doesnt go to the Watermill. In our case we could have paid, but they didnt offer it after midnight, and our reception ended at 1 am.
