I am so sorry this had to happen to you. Vendors that host more than one wedding at a time should know how to handle things. I went to the crest hollow five years ago with my FH for one of his cousins weddings. Everything about the hall was wonderful. I didn't like how the limos were all lined up and bride after bride were standing next to one another. The looks the brides gave one another was priceless.

because of the hair dresser no show and the lack of time we had for photos, I'm giving more and more thought to retaking those important pictures that were missed. However, the only problem we have with that, is that my mother her S/O and my grandmother live in Florida, and it's hard to get my entire family together.

I also have the added cost of paying the photographer (although I would probably use someone else) AND having to have my dress cleaned TWICE.

All this because a vendor did not show on my wedding day.

I encourage all future brides to ask your vendors if they have a back up plan for those 'just in case' situations. I wish I would have done that, if I did, I would have made other choices when it came to hiring a vendor.

I also appreciate all the support from you ladies. I know there are quite a few brides that are loyal to this vendor and dont' see anything wrong with what happened. And I've received my fair share of nasty FM's for my review, But I appreciate all the comments and support from my fellow brides. I was very careful with how I wrote my review.

I know it's been a YEAR almost ! But I wanted to add some additional comments to my review about my catering hall:

After all was said and done and we unpacked all the boxes they packed for us after the wedding, two VERY IMPORTANT SENTIMENTAL items were missing. One of which was not only sentimental but expensive. After 3 phone calls to my BM with him just 'yessing' me that he will look with no response. I wrote an email and sent a certified letter again with no response. I also sent letters to the General Manager of Crest Hollow as well as the OWNER and again no response. It saddens and disgusts me that after all the $$ we gave them that once your day is over, they don't care anymore. I specifically asked my bridal attendant if those items were packed and she assured me they were.

Another issue we had that bothered me SO much was our bridal attendant. DH tipped her after the day was over for what we felt she deserved. Apparently she didn't like what we gave her so she went to our BM and told him we didn't tip her. Our BM (banquet manager) approached my father and told him this and my father couldn't believe we didn't tip her, so he gave the BM ANOTHER $100 to give to the bridal attendant. To me that was just so shady and dishonest.
