UPDATED WITH PICS!!!Charlotte and Marks's 8/21/04 Huntington Townhouse Wedding Mini-Review

I am married and still can't believe it...our day was awesome we are both still crying from the wonderful emotions of it all...I have pics from the guests and will post over the weekend...all of our guests are still talking about the day...we don't remember it because it went to fast. I remembered oversleeping and waking up at 6:45am and the day ending at 9:30pm that night, everything else in between is a whirl! Ok but on with the mini-review...first thanks to all of you brides that helped, chatted, and those that even got on my everlating nerve on these boards! Thank you all!

Ceremony/CH/Reception Site - Huntington Townhouse, I give an A+, they did a marvelous job...I had a hell of a table design and they got it right on. They made sure my 2 bridal suites were stocked with food, liquor, and my decorations. My bridal attendant Ludmilla, I thank her much. My husband cried all day while I laughed, she said we switched emotions. My maitre d Steven remained on point. I think he thought I was the most anal bride he ever met. I used Microsoft Publisher for all of my instructions, made everyone's life easier and kept me sane.

Music - DJ Mandusa and WBLS Johnny Allen as MC - The DJ I give a C-, he did not follow my instruction sheet played wrong music although he was given all of requested music on CD's and he proclaimed to have difficulty setting up. However he did provide a famous radio announcer as our MC who did a very good job, A+. Turns out my hubby's parents are old close friends of Johnny Allen, who would have known?!

Photography - 52Shades Photography - A++ Arthur and his assistant (his brother) kept us laughing all day...very easy to work with. Can't wait to see the proofs. They told me my hubby had been crying since he arrived that morning.

Florist - Floral Fantasy A+ they showed up 1hr early and handled everything. Amazing job on the flowers and well worth the price. The altar baskets were beyond beautiful. I made the hubby take one home with us. Helluva time getting it into the limo!

Limos - Navigator Transportation I give a B. Although they showed up 1hr early for pickup they switched cars (my beloved Jag stretch to a Cadicallic Escalalde stretch) on our return and were over an hour late.

Chair Covers - Paragon Design A++ - they designed our covers with an organza tie & white silk roses on the back of each chair. My ballroom was amazing. Jamilla is the best. They were early, like a team of 7-8 set everything up and took it down. Great prices. I officially used them 1st at HTH, they're now an official vendor.

Makeup - Lynda Lane of Chamelon Makeup A++ - she waited for me almost 1 1/2 hrs to arrive back home form the hair salon then did our faces in an hour and came to the CH with us. I felt like a model during our photo shot. Even hubby got airbrushed. Well worth the money. Amazing and friendly. She kept us laughing!

Reflection Hair Salon in Westbury - A++ - thanks to my stylist Evelyn and shop owner Michelle for opening up at 6:30am...you guys did awesome work on me and my MOH!

Gown - Lynbrook Bridal A++ - Rica and her team, wow is all I can say. Not one problem with my gown.

Honeymoon - Marien Coral all inclusive by Hilton Puerta Plata DR - A+++ - love my boss for that gift. The most relaxing and romantic vacation!

Travel - American Airlines A+ - thank you for the upgrade to 1st class - tip:brides ask at the counter upon check-in.

Didn't it go fast??? We had problems with our dj too.. but it didn't ruin our parties. At least you had a famous emcee.

I am so sorry everyone today is my first day back to work and life!!! I will post our pics this eve of the wedding and HM....after our HM I had to go to Las Vegas for a week for my company's annual convention and then on into to Tampa for the weekend (the storm didn't get us) to visit the hubby's parents...we're still in bliss and riding a serious happy high right now

...I'm in my office as I type this but I promise pics when I get home tonight...hang on girls!
