Airbrush make-up questions..,.help!!!

My wedding is in August and I have very oily skin. I originally had opted for airbrush make-up because I have read many brides rave about it , however, I have been advised by two different make-up artist to consider the 'regular ' application instead
According to them, airbrush application does not 'hold-up' so good during the summer and it tends to 'cake-up' if you spend a considerable amount of time outside. The fact that I have oily skin won't help matters either I expect to be outside about four hours (photos and cocktail hour is outside).
Also, the church doesn't have AC and it will be a mass. Ceremony will be in Brooklyn and have to travel in traffic for about an hour to reception in Old Westbury.

Any advice is really appreciated!!1
