Alteration question

I went to one of my BMs fittings today. They have a cap on alterations of $55 so anyway she needed nothing done to her dress except the 3 point bustle which was $10 a point oh and she has boobies put in to.....so how did her bill come to $108

Is it normal that they charge you the cap regardless along with these 2 other things she needed??

You should check in the store to see if they have their alterations prices posted. when I had my dress done a few years ago at Lestans, they had a sign of what their included alterations were and a list of things that would be extra. My hem and bustle was $100.00 each but all the fixes they did to take it in and adjust the top (including cups) were included.

When i went for a BM fitting there, I believe they charged me for the cups to be sewn in, but all the work they did on the straps, taking in of the dress was included.

So I guess it all depends on the store.

You might have had a $55 alterations cap for taking in/letting out, hems, etc. But the other alterations probably werent included in that cap. If they dont have it posted clearly in the store of what is included in the cap then I would argue with them since no one informed you.
