DJ challenge...please help
Hi! I am getting married on 1/5/2008 from 12:30-6 at the westbury manor...and I'm looking for a DJ and MC for my cocktail hour and reception.
The guest situation can be a little bit challenging. My fiance and I are both asian-american, so while our friends are totally down with letting loose and partying and having fun, things may be a little bit more difficult with our parents and guests of their generation (which will probably make up the majority of the guest list). They are more reserved...which tends to somber up the atmosphere a little bit. They are okay with dancing to the Frank Sinatra type songs...but will quickly sit down as soon as anything
'young' comes on.
I am looking for someone who can seamlessly play music for both my generation and our parents' generation to enjoy....and an MC who can easily read the crowd and who can get people on the dance floor without being 'in your face'.
I'm not looking for a lot of frills....just really great music and a really good time!!!
