just wondering which places are less expensive but still nice, i was thinking about looking into St. Lucia and Aruba, maybe even Jamaica but I am weary about the safety there. Hawaii I know will be out of my price range but I'm not sure. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Have you considered a cruise? The food and entertainment is all included, even 24 hr room service. If you decide on a resort and it rains then your honeymoon is less than perfect, but if you take a cruise even if its raining somewhere, the ship can simply move! As far as price you can expect to spend from 800 to 2000 per person, depending on which ship and itinarary. Also the cabin you chose can make a difference in price as well, expect the balcony suites to be more expensive than the inside staterooms which have no windows. I would like to help in any way I can, even if you decide not to take a cruise. My husband and I have visited most of the Caribbean as well as Hawaii on our various cruises and will be glad to share some insights about the islands!
