My fiancee's father is deceased. We'd like to add both parents inviting people on the invitation but still want to include his father.... suggestions?
Thank you!

Re: Invitation question
Here are a few suggestions:
The honor or your presence is requested to witness the joining in marriage of Mary Sue Smith, Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Smith and Jimmy John Jones Son of Ms. Jane Smith and the late Mr. John Smith
or
Mr. and Mrs. David Smith requests the honour of your presence at the marriage of her daughter Eliza Rose to Matthew James Jones son of Ms. Jane Jones and the late Mr. John Jones on Saturday, the first day of June Two thousand and two at five o'clock in the evening St. Joseph's Church Scottsdale, Arizona
or
Eliza Rose Smith daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Smith and Thomas Scott Carson son of Mrs. Scott Carson and the late Mr. Carson request the honour of your presence
I hope this helps. I think this is incredibly honorable to add him on the invitation.
We have sent you a FM with the information your requested. Best Wishes Patricia Panache Printing

Re: Invitation question
Thank you both so much! One of them is very similar to what I have saved.

Re: Invitation question
How do we like this. I've had it saved for a week but wasn't sure of it....
Regina Maria daughter of Mr. and Mrs. ---------- & Christopher Michael son of Mrs. --------- and the late Mr. -------- are entering into their new life together
The honour of your presence is requested to share in the joy when their children unite in marriage on Friday, the twenty-seventh of November Two Thousand and Nine
(then the details)

Re: Invitation question
Hi there, another option would be if both parents are hosting:
Mr. and Mrs. John Doe and Mrs. Mary Jane Smith and the late Mr. John Smith request the honour of your presence etc.
and if your parents are hosting we usually use the example above:
Mr.
