Lessing's caterers?

Hi everyone - I just need some feedback. I'm looking into booking one (not sure which) of Lessing's halls but I don't know anyone personally who has used them and I would like to know more about the food. I figured vendors would be a good place to start because some of you may have been there and tried it, heard feedback, etc.... Can anyone give me any input?

No one else has any information? Lessing's owns Bourne Mansion, Coindre Hall, Timber Point CC, Smithtown Landing, Vanderbilt Mansion (not at Dowling, the other one), Riverview....etc....

I would really appreciate any input.

Hi there-

It was not a wedding but I will give you my feedback on an event I hosted at a Lessings facility. I had my mom's surprise 50th Bithday party there. They did a wonderful job, no complaints, food was good. Being the host I did not really eat much, but never got any complaints either. Of course this was not a wedding, I would only assume the food and service would be scaled to the event.

I am sorry I missed this post -otherwise I would have responded immediately. I am recommended by Lessings at Bourne Mansion, Timber Point Country Club, Coindre Hall etc. They are incredibly nice people to work with. If you have the opportunity of working with Ben Nierenberg or Michael Lessing -you are in for a wonderful experience. My personal band has played for many weddings and receptions at each of their locations and my office has provided many Bands, DJs, ceremony and cocktail hour musicians (everything from strolling violins to steel drums, mariachi, bagpipes, ceremony singers,string quartet, harp etc) at each location.
