Looking for a DJ for the Riviera (Massapequa)

Hi!
So we have our date and venue all set (9/2/12 at Riviera in Massapequa)...but at this point that is about it! To make things tougher - we are planning an LI wedding from California so we can't meet with any vendors until Christmas and we really want to have vendors booked for the most part by then.

Right now my main uncertainty is the DJ. I am not really sure what is a good price and since so many DJ websites just look kind of iffy/many reviews I find are by single-review users (which seems a little fishy). Just wondering what DJs anyone would use or recommend against? Price quotes?

We are looking for a just regular fun party feel (not like a club, not boring). We'll have a mix of guests as far as age goes- with the majority being in their 20s. Definitely someone that will get people dancing without being over-the-top. Riviera has a dark wood interior, so we will probably need uplighting. I would like someone who will come for the ceremony and CH, even just to play CDs/use sound equipment.
