The way I work is that you should choose what you like dependent on how it looks to you live. Makeup included. The films and natural lighting that I use reproduces colors and tones the way you actually see them. I can't speak for other photographers and the films and lighting that they use. Best to speak to the photographer you hired to find out the conditions that are most appropriate for the way he/she works. Sorry, but that's the best honest answer I have.
