Are there enough of us to have our own official Inn at NHP thread? I feel like we should have one . . . thoughts?

hey guys....here is the link to my pro pics..also..to those questions regardig the bed and breakfast...no one is even allowed in there besides you and the groom..they actually make you sign a waiver...

Your pictures are AMAZING, you guys looked so great!! :)

I just emailed Janine about the cake tasting and she said that the only bakery The Inn is using now is Buttercooky in Floral Park and they have stopped using the one in West Hempstead, forgot their name. I don't know anything about either, but hopefully it's yummy! Just wanted to let everyone know.

ok..for the uplighting..i didn't go through the inn for it..i wanted a little more than they could offer..although..the inn still does charge for you to use their uplighting..

also..they do not have hora chairs...they use regular chairs which was fine though.

Hi!! I'm still debating whether to get the uplighting through my DJ or The Inn. What did you mean when you said your DJ offered more with the uplighting? Do you know how a DJ's is different than the Inn's uplighting?

i didn't use a dj, i used an event lighting company. so there was a pretty big difference in what the inn could offer me..although im sure they can do a great job, i was really happy with our decision.

My bm told me just last week that we can use either Buttercooky or Reisterers . .

I agree re: uplighting. We are going to have our dj do it because they are also going to provide a lighting technician to control it.

Good call with the lighting technician..I didn't even think about that... I was thinking about something...it might sound weird, but if my DJ doesn't bring speakers to set up on the dance floor, I am worried about it looking a little bare with only the lights and the black stand to hide the equipment... not sure if it makes sense...but does anyone else have thought on this??

On the menu I have I think it was $2.00 a person but I could be wrong or it could have changed by now. Do you know how they present it to the guests? Let me know what you find out.

Ughhhhh our invites are going out hopefully by the end of next week too! How annoying is the whole invitation process. haha fun but annoying! Oooo well let me know what you decide on your menu. Are you doing any extras/upgrades? Thats so exciting!!
