ATTENTION: LIW-Sponsored GTG at Shea Stadium -- DEADLINE TO VOTE ON A DATE IS TOMORROW MARCH 15TH!!!

Hello all:

Ron has asked me to help him coordinate an LIW event this summer at Shea Stadium.

LIW will be hosting a group outing to a Met game at Shea Stadium this summer, with a tailgate party before or after the game depending on the time. I have posted a poll with 4 prospective dates, along with the time each game starts.

Please vote in the poll, but also PLEASE RESPOND TO THE THREAD WITH THE DATE YOU CAN LIKELY ATTEND, WHETHER YOU CAN ATTEND, AND HOW MANY PEOPLE YOU ARE BRINGING. SPOUSES ARE INVITED

THERE WILL BE A CONTEST AT THE EVENT WITH PRIZES TO BE AWARDED

DEADLINE FOR LETTING ME KNOW IS MARCH 15TH 2005 AND AT THAT POINT, I WILL FM RON WITH THE DATE AND HEAD COUNT.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ONCE YOU COMMIT TO COMING AND YOUR TICKETS ARE ORDERED, YOU OWN THE TICKETS, SO SHOULD YOU NEED TO CANCEL, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELLING THE TICKETS TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK.

I will bump this thread regularly as a reminder.

Looking forward to seeing/meeting you all.

Please FM me with questions.

Don

Oh, I think I could actually get Kev to this one (yes, i'm marrying a mets fan ).

I voted July 23rd

ETA: Either July date should work... I'm getting married August 7th, so the 6th is out

And the 20th I'll be workin in VA already, so August is out.

Re: ATTENTION: LIW-Sponsored GTG at Shea Stadium

I think the 3pm game is the best choice. Not too late... where it kills your evening... not too early where you are drinking beer tailgating at 11am.

I will probably bring my best man if I go since there is no way in hell I think my FW would attend this (for a number of reasons).

haha just reminded me of the times me and my friends would be up at 8am to go tailgating before the football games.
