Official 'Yes-No Response Ratio' Thread

For those of us up to or past this point, I thought we could post how many people we've invited, how many said yes and how many said no. I know I would have found this information helpful about a month ago.

Please add on.

DISCLAIMER: This is in NO way a guarantee of how many guests you will get at your wedding. This is simply for informational value and, probably, so you can see the vast array of yes to no ratios. Your number will depend on the day/date/time you have your wedding and how many OOT guests you have.

And, of course, how much people like you.

Just Kidding!!!

Love this thread...what a great idea!

Invited: 144 (Adults: 131; Children: 13)

Yes: 105
Adults: 96
Kids: 9

No: 39
Adults: 35
Kids: 4

My overall NO percent is: 27%

OOT invited: 43
OOT Yes: 22
OOT No: 21

OOT no percent: 48.5%

My entire family is from OOT since I am the only one living in NY...so only my immediate family can come, no aunts, uncles, etc. since they are in PR or GA. Gotta love that!

NOTE: We received about half of the actual RSVP's back, the rest were confirmed when we called. People really stink at sending back the RSVP cards!

No: 61 (as of 4/16/2005)

No Response Rate:

will update again closer to response date

I think I didn't do a good job of accurately counting the 'and guest' people. I counted all of them as if they would bring a guest and I think I overestimated and could have invited more people. Maybe I'll get a b-list set of response cards printed if it looks like we won't make our minimum.

I'm getting nervous about meeting my guarantee. Although our guarantee is only 150, we already know of 3 couples who won't be attending (this is without even having sent out invitations).

All of this has made me decide to mail out my invitations the moment I receive them. Our response date is June 1 and I want to make sure we have time to send out B list invitations without people realizing they were on the B list.

Most of the no's were out of town people concerned about the weather.

That puts me somewhere close to 30% right?

Well, I invited 221 and had 171 come....
so if my math is correct (which it might not be) we had 23% say no
